Hm the all the sounds in here sound pretty presettish, try to get your own sounds in it and make them fit together. Buildup is very slow and floorkilling (in stead of filling) Bass drowns in the mix, you can give it more room by removing more low freqs from the low string and other synths. Try notching the bass where the kick punches, then you can give the bass more low end without swallowing the kicks punch. Other synths interfere with each other too, you need to make room for each synth here. The extra synth on 5:12 has too much high end, can't here the percs anymore.. Percs could use some variety as well. And have another look at the buildup, it's quite a drag from beginning to end..

Anyways.. just a whole bunch of pointers to have a look at when you build your next track. Good luck and keep it up!

I like that "Big Synth" sound you have going on there.

The Kick (or the entire track seems to be a bit too loud (distortion). Kick seems to drown out the bass completely. Lower down the his a tad.

I Personally would lower (volume) and center the hihat and decrease the Reveerb effect on it.

And there is always room for more percussion...

More Beats/HiHats panning around may definitely sound cool with the track.

Other suggestions.

BuildUp - Add/Create loops (Synths, Acids, etc) to make it more interesting and build more tension.

Breadown - Add Pads/Strings to go along with the Lead.

Lead/Finale - A Sublead ?

and I suspect I know how you feel about working your ass off

Thans Kenidel, if you by accidence have FL Studio it would be nice if you created some percussion for me It is not yet my strong point. The rest of your suggestions are also noted. I will pan the hi hat back to the center although it is a nice trick to let all the hihats come out nicely.

The entire track is indeed too loud, when mastering the new result again I will definitely lower the volume of the track and I think I will use a different kick with a nicer high end as well.

Thanks mate!

Cheers,

nice track, the hi's are a bit too accentuated as mentioned, and the low bassline is a bit too deep for this kind of track , or my taste, needs less low end and more punch...
The string pads are great sounding, and the main melody sounds very familiar, but hey- it works. Good job on this tune, with some mastering it will sound great.

At around 0:30, there's this this muddy thing going on in the mid-low range. I can really tell what it is, but I don't like it all that much, unless you can make it more pronounced and cool sounding, in which case I'm all for it.

You could do something a little different with your kick pattern every 16th bar or so in the intro. Something to bring my interest back into what's going on.

I'd like more bass line when the melody gets all uplifting and stuff.

Fun tune. Nice uplifting melody. I liked it.

Thanks mate! I will indeed work on the hi's. Ain't mastering a B**ch huh? We should all have our free personal masterers/egineers haha.

Glad you liked the tune for the rest.

Cheers!

I love the part starting at 3:20 - all the way through. Great work. Nice drum-work as-well.

I like it very much till the break @ 03:20.. Lack of originality, and the structure and sound of the melody remind me of some old song which I can't remember the name of right now. Very well produced though, wish I once learned how to master tracks this well :P

Is that part about the drum work a joke? I know what I am good at, but the drumwork certainly is not a strong point of mine. Glad you like the track from 3.20 min on.

Cheers!

Production wise , really good, trust me, I'm using good headphones now Nomen.
The track itself does not bring anything new for me, but it is a good track not less not more.
