it has potential but damn, feels like the track is all over the place right now

you need to tighten things up

first of all, that squarish bassline doesn't really fit there in my opinion, feels a bit out of the track.

you should also take down the reverb a bit, it's a bit overdone as it is right now. I think that's the main reason that it feels like the track is all over the place.

the percussion is a bit thin, I can hear a hihat and some bongos but that's about it. Fill it out more for some more energy.

and last, you should check the arrangement of the track, the breaks are apearing at very weird timings. Try to listen to a few other tracks to see how they are built.

keep up the great work, it's a great remix, it just needs some polishing to be a real winner

I agree almost 100% with this post. You definitely have to lose or eq a lot of the reverb going on. And this might just be me, but one of the notes that the guitarlike sound is playing sounds like it's a tiny bit out of time.

x2

The reverb is swallowing everything. Sawish bass is a bit simple as well, try to fit a rolling one.

Apart from that, and some tiny things, I like the sounds in this one, it's pretty full. Good work!
