These are two suggestions
I think the overpowering is because of the 96 kbps you heard..?
It's lengthy maybe but that's not really my concern atm, plenty of room to mix. Thanks for the suggestions tho!!

Think about adding or replacing one of the melody sounds with one thats a bit darker or more edgy, its going to make the softer stuff more floaty and at the same time put a punch into the beat. Actually maybe even lowering the pitch or transpose. But definetly something on the bottom so it can drive the beat more. For somereason i don't think your base is really driving. Just try it anyways. what have you got to lose.
I understand what you mean. These could be solving the lack of drive in the track. And putting more contrasts let's things stand out better..., but I think I'd be better off trying that in new tracks. Changing things I like atm is not always good I learned. Let's keep it at it that the combo's in this one aren't regular..
Thanks for your time and suggestions clubkilla, appreciated!
That is a nice track and I agree with the 70's feel, it's funky though.
Not sure about the bassline. Not because I don't like it, but it does feel a little awkward with the overall feel of the song. Whilst the rest of the song is really slick it seems to plod a little too much.
As I said, I can't fault you production wise as this is really nice just not 100% convinced about the overall result. But that is only personal opinion and not bassed on technical merit.

Thanks Nem,
Though I will have a final look over it all to get rid of flawed things.. technical flaws that is
I really like your productions. Just as I enjoyed your remix Of "Fall To Pieces" - this one is very good too. It could be a bit shorter maybe, but it's still a very enjoyable listening. Looking forward to your next works!

Hey Jay!
This is sooooooooooooo good.
It's got a very unique kind of uplifting feeling I haven't heard in too many songs before. You've got tons of creativity it must even be squeaking out in your farts
I love the melodies and the vibe.. I've got nothing to suggest - this is top notch stuff and that funky bass tickles my balls.
Good stuff buddy!
