*Bass at begining is a bit too present, it annoys me in a way..
*Very nice build up, energy in a controlled way. Thumbs up!
*Nice pads.
*Change in chords is brilliant!
*Break: Upcoming piano not to good IMO, but the rest is awesome!
*/me loves the seaside
*Good melody coming in here
*Continueing... everything seems to fit.
*Chord and melody change is brilliant once more at 6:22!
*The synth and the snareroll sound a bit too raw, i mean, it's very clear and all, but i would've put slightly more reverb on the synth, or back it off a bit. I would've tried too create even more room.
It's a very good track!!

Hey, I really like this song! I thought the sound effect at the beginning of the song which occurs again a few times through the song is really cool, too. What is it?

The track is really good. No doubt about this... But it's however not easy at all to get signed these days. Because labels always want the best stuff only. And there are a lot of concurrency. A&R's take their responsability to label when they accept or refuse any track.
But don't be discouraged Wim. I know you're capable to produce a hit,so keep it up and work on your new stuff
Take care,

Wim,
- Maybe you should pick some more labels to send it to. And send it out again (maybe after remastering)??
- I love the melody. It's in my head all the time you know . If it's ok with you, I'd like to do a remix. I'll PM you about it.
I think there is a misprint in the title for this thread, I believe you meant to write, "Something Special" because damn this song is exceptional.
I do love a freakin killer bassline, something that I could feel stabbing through my chest on the dancefloor. This song qualifies for sure! It is real real sick. The melody itself is also amazing. Definitely a peaktime, kickass, hold-on-for-dear-life kind of song.
Amazing work, Mr. Lightworks. Just unbeleivable.
I love it muy mucho!
Take care,
Mr. Hollen

Good stuff man. I may not be no trance expert, but I know what I like in a trance tune and all the elements for a good tune is in this track. I say don't get discouraged if no labels sign a track. Just keep producing and try again. I really like this one. And I wouldn't be surprised if this got on TA's Unite Ch 4.

Good to see that some things never change. High quality trance from you as usual. Too bad for labels if they don't wanna sign this, beacause I surely can't fault anything here. Keep it up

I don't agree. The quality is getting better and better.

I'm afraid I have to disagree... Look at the market for trance right now, and compare it with the nineties. There's heaps and heaps of stuff out there that's way less than some things I hear over here and those things don't get a release - which should. I practically don't really know what they want anymore these days.
Thanks for the kind words peepz, I truly appreciate it!
Cheers,
Wim
