Hey I saw this one on the Armin Audio ftp.
This is one of my favourite Madonna tracks, lol. Really good for remixing, it has a nice melody. But then it needs to be remixed properly..
When the vocal goes down it drowns a bit. That while the vocal's volume is way to high. Like being said, it just seems to be put right on top of the track. No vocal fx and stuff, really a pity. Time issue?
Reverbs are way too much in there. On the fx and vocals.
Kick is too present in the lows and although it gives that downtempo feel, its a bit too much imo.
The 4 bar loops you used aren't fit in right, you have to slow them a bit to fall on the kick, cause the become messy like this.
The synths are way too thin man, in my opinion. Overall it has a bit of an enigma feel, in which the low fi synths may fit, but I'd choose for more interesting, fatter ones. Just more effort to put in a track, at least if you want Armin to play it I think.
Lastly, the track is 4-5 mins too long. Only make long track when you introduce new sounds all along and have a long buildup.
I hope this is a bit helpful. Track is not my cup.
