I'm just playing the full en bloc MP3 at the moment, so I don't know the particular track, but at the track that appears to start at about the 20 minute mark there is a small vocal sample. I could be totally wrong, but this sample sounds very familiar- heard it on a couple of older tracks. Did you source it from anywhere in particular, or am I completely on the wrong track?

i really like it, great atmosphere, sound and composition. i got a feeling that i'll be listening to this one for a while yet, some tunes are chilled and in others it picks up pace, all round good vibe to it

generally, its well produced, definately worth a commercial release. kinda sounds like a soundtrack to a movie or something..

Well I really think this turned out very well Nik - You boys should be damn proud

I'd really like to see some other folks take a crack at remixing tunes like "Infinitude" and "Lights Out," as I could really see them being absolutely perfect remix material.

"Infinitude" I thought in particular fit really well where it did on the album, and "Lights Out" was a perfect tune to go out on, and though i thought the sounds that rode out the last couple minutes of the album were nice, I really wish you would have worked more of an outro into the end of "Lights Out." Just personal preference I guess.

Other high points were "Lost Without a Trace," which I think may really lend itself well to my own sets - as well as the "Orchestral Interlude" which I thought followed up "LWAT" very nicely.

Well done Nik - as was said earlier, this is definitely more than solid enough for a commercial release, and will be listened to many, many times by me

It's a part of a sample pack (I think) so it wouldn't really surprise me if you've heard it somewhere. I'm not really sure where, though.

As for remixes...
We haven't really even thought of them. Somehow the whole idea just seems a bit "wrong" to me right now. Maybe at some point, though...

Enjoying the album mucho, thanks for creating and sharing.

This is the best free music you can get on the net, so nothing to complain about.

It's good to hear there are lots of different sounds used throughout the album, and still every track has it's Al Azar touch. That's what I call professionality.

I don't know what you guys are aiming for, I'm sure it's not "brilliance", but any concrete aims. Good music for sure, well that is.

And for the artwork, it seems you did this yourself cause everybody can make this hehe, im guessing you couldn't wait to post the link

Clearly the issue of remixes that do the original piece of music justice is a concern, I simply happen to think that this album is full of sounds and ideas that would lend themselves nicely to a diverse range of remixes.

I keep trying to write some constructive responses to your posts, but have failed miserably thus far. But thanks for the feedback and hopefully it won't be too long before Nik and I can get started on some new material (if he can stand to work with me again, that is).

I don't think we know what we are aiming for either
We just do whatever feels natural at the time, and it's almost spooky how we seem to get similar ideas at the same time...
