Bowling for Columbine, the movie

I just saw this documentary and all I can say atm is (not insulting any people here personally) but America, what a sick society.
This movie opened my eyes, I never thought it was like that.
People are "all" elements of a ed up society, not living the lives they should live.
I know I'm gonna get some bad reactions here from people, but I post this straight from the heart.
America 17100 homicides, France 160, Germany 100, UK, 68 a year....
It's not the people's fault, it's the fault of the society they live in.
What a sick world, sorry, I had to say this...
I always heard about Belgium and mostly Western Europe to be the promised land, well, I guess I have to go with this idea...

Any reactions or comments about the movie?

It's not only the fact that there live more people.
People are afraid to live, they all own a gun there to protect themselves, that's why it leakes out of hand and students start killing students at school...
Weapons are toys upthere in America...It's not normal anymore...
In the middle of the movie u see facts about America, killing kings/presidents of countries and kill a lot of people...they think by killing everyone they'll rule the whole world...
It's in the people's mentality, they feel like killing too...
Canada on the other side, which is also a country with loads of weapon purchases is a whole other mentality...the movie shows u the opposite of how it SHOULD be...
I think this movie is perfectly made in every way...to show people how sick America is...and it convinced me too.
The director had the intention to let people open their eyes...if u watch the movie u'll know what I mean
Spyder
it was mentioned in the political room

my world issues class had to watch it for an assinment..

I agree that america is a crappy country, but you are drastically generalizing americans. We don't all own guns. In fact, i know very few people who even know how to operate a weapon.

yes but the gun to population ratio is bigger in canada
we're not offing each other in record numbers

this movie is great, i'm buying it as soon as it comes out on dvd

TranceSeeker; while I do agree with you, you're greatly exaggerating. You shouldn't base your view on a country from a movie when you haven't lived there yourself.
