TIËSTO ING OWNED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh my goddddddddddd what an incredible night
from 1am to 5:30am, Tiësto threw down a ing unbelievable set~!!!
His mixing was on spot the entire night and he was happy as ...dancing around, smiling, hands in the air!!!!!!!!:D

only down points of the night:
- yes, Glow was extremely packed, no room to dance...or move...
- Glow staff were dicks as usual
- Not enough TA's there!!! I saw a bunch, but I was hoping for more!

nobody took down a tracklist, but I did my best to remember the songs he played.
Some of these are in order, some arent! :p

01. Some crazy intro song w/ samples from the Matrix (very appropriate cuz it is opening weekend~!!!;)) "take the red pill, take the blue pill"
02. David Forbes - Answers

Tiësto - Faithfulness
Gabriel & Dresden pres. Motorcycle - As the Rush Comes
Darren Tate vs. Jono Grant - Let the Light Shine In

I agree. Tiesto just ruled the night.

Too bad there was no room to move around up near the front though.

This is the first time in years that I've seen so many non-TA's stick around after the encore was over.

Two fast questions beema?

Did his set flow. (did he take you on a journey and tell you somthing with his music or did he just play tracks)?

How was his mixing. All I know his that he really wasn't putting his heart into the nyc set whatsoever.

I absolutely loved how Tijs threw this one down... he tried the typical trance tracks towards the beginning and the crowd didn't respond like he probably expected them to (probably cuz it was so crowded) so he went on an hour journey of hard that I loved and haven't seen from the other times I've seen Tiesto. He rocked out hard for a while then brought it back to the classic Tiesto mood. Kinda sucked there wasn't any room but I eventually found some on one of those platforms so I got my dance needs met. Beema, that 2nd encore song was the ... does anyone know what it was!?

He also played Electronic Malfunction... off the top of my head. Amazing night with Tiesto and my baby.

i got my faith back in tiesto. one of the best set i heard live in a while. this is with the pvd set at glow. lots of people. i need new legs, ass and ears.

worst part is the overkilled in fogging, so much u couldnt see who was next to you or how close they were to u, and the fog made my eyes dry the instint i look into it  . the crowd seems to love and cant get enough of him. me too :toothless

#2 encore was darren_tate_and_mike_koglin_presents_cola_-_waiting_(original)

Yeah, Tiesto was incredible. There were a few times when I was just standing there cuz I wasn't feeling it (at the beginning, and like 2 or 3 other scattered times through the set).

But the whole set I was waiting for him to play Nyana, and he finally did near the end. Seemed like a lot of the people there didn't even know what Nyana was. hehehe

My favorite part of the night though, was when he played Obsession. I died so hard. Anyway, i gotta go. Good night it was...

Peace

Looks like his tracklist was better than in NY. I guess we may never know what his issues were here. Perhaps starting off with technical difficulties affected his whole mood.

Anyway, I had a blast on Friday and I am glad you all did as well. TIESTO does freaking own and he obviously proves it time and time again.

To all the TAs:
D00ds, we need to get more people coming out to events and sticking together. The MORE THE MERRIER!!!

hmmm....not too sure what to say about last night. of course tiesto was holdin it down, but i was a little disappointed with his selection of tracks...most of the ones he was playing, i've heard armin play 3 months ago. i guess i was expecting newer and more unknown songs. i saw him in dc at nation back in october and that night just owned last nights. maybe it was the fact that it was so crowded that you couldn't even dance and rock out to it. don't get me wrong- he played some really good stuff and i still had a wonderful time. i done near died when he dropped "as the rush coomes". always a pleasure seeing the familiar ta's-- joel, dave, ryan, yujie, sammy, mario, jose, beema, as well as meeting some new ones like dj2kta. and of course i must throw some love to my baby boy, whom without which, the night wouldnt be half as amazing. :D
