Maybe it's cause back in October you weren't a TA and really didn't know anything about trance, but now you are a TA, and largely in part to me you know a lot of trance songs :p
it's true he has been playing a lot of stuff Armin has dropped on ASOT already, but face it, if you knew now what you knew back in October...you would've thought this set was mindblowing and you wouldn't have known any of the tracks

cause of this effect, a lot of TA's have stopped paying attention to tracklists and downloading singles so when they go see a DJ, everything seems fresh and new...

umm...i've liked trance for 2 years, just because i am relatively new to ta doesnt mean i cant ID songs!! in october, i knew a lot of the songs he played, but it was overall funkier and more tiesto-like. hahah beema- dont flatter yourself...yes you have hooked me up with songs in the past, but you aren't my trance god.

yeah...whatever, I have a million quotes from you that prove otherwise
"duh? what's airwave???"
"oh reuben, you are my trance god!!"

don't flatter yourself

I wasn't trying to say anything about you, but more putting your review in perspective, explain why you may have thought his set this time wasn't as fresh or exciting...

oh geeze,.. does this thread need mr. kool aid dude too??

he's just so fun and looking like he's having a happy kick ass time

to keep this somewhat on topic,... i'll be seeing Tiesto myself next thursday and i hope he falls somewhere along the lines of the NY show only more so b/c of the tracklisting but im thinkin its gonna be more like DC b/c of the shorter set he's gonna play,... btw Tiesto sucked bull scrotum last october in Atl, all techno hardly any trance.....

Its 11:30 pm on sunday and i just got back home in pittsburgh...ive been up for 48 hours and im so ing beat. Tiesto owned Glow!!! He was loving the Glow crowd....hands in the air, smile on his face. It was to packed to dance but the vibe was awsome (eccept for the staff...what a bunch of dicks.) My picks will be posted on WWW.Trance365.com in the near future. If for some reason you cant find a pic i took of you and whoever....feel free to contact me and ill send them on over [email protected].

My moment of the night.....At the end of Tiesto's set...i held my Magik Muzik shirt up in the air and when he seen it.....he had the biggest smile on his face and pointed at me. then i got him to sign it.........i could have died.

don't worry about that, you are in for a trance feast...Tiësto has ditched a lot of the "experimenting" he was doing last fall and is back to playing mostly trance :)

oddly enough, I have gone the opposite direction...I like a lot of prog and techno now more than a lot of trance out there!
lol
figures...

Man, you guys must have some wicked sources for tunes. I listen to Trance no less than 3 hours per day, and I couldn't ID Tiesto's set for crap. I usually have more fun listening to songs that I already know. That's just me. And just for the record, when I looked up the definition of Trance in the dictionary I saw a picture of Beema.

:disbelief
