Man, I totally forgot when he played Adagio for Strings! Tiesto went insane. He was jumpin around like a kid having a tantrum, but with a smile on his face.

Overall i give the set a 8/10. I didn't like his start that much, and a few scattered parts I wasn't feeling as well, but the rest of the time, and the extreme time extension got me going.

hell yea. that song owns! I love Tiesto's remix, I got lucky enough to ask him about it after the show. He definitely loves the song, and seemed especially fond of his version, and of course so was the crowd!

any who. Here is my review I originally posted on the glow forum.

WOW!!!!!!! Incredible night! I had such a great time, even though I got squashed up front for most of the night. Johnny Trust's set was off the hook! Noel Sanger totally delivered, and, as for Tiesto, his set was nearly flawless. Sorry about your luck all you Roxy people, but the Glow show was completely amazing. Tiesto's mixing was dead on, all night long. he didn't up at all. His track selection was truly hot. He signed my In My Memory 4X LP that I brought with me, and a flyer I got right when I got there. Thanks to Ramses big time for such an incredible night. Got to hang out after the show and even got to chat with the man himself, Tiesto! He's a really nice guy and I thanked him so much for an incredible night and for playing his remix of Barber's Adaigo for Strings. Hightlight of night was to actually meet him and chat for a good 5 or 6 minutes. Thank you Johnny for that! That truly made my evening complete. Another hightlight for me was when Tiesto played Lethal Industy and then mixed into Conjure One - Tears from the Moon(DJ tiesto remix) and then went back to Lethal Industry that was so amazing. Definitely helped make my evening. There's so much more I should say about it, but I'll post again later I'm sure. Here's a lot of the songs I remember hearing last night. They are in no particular order:

Scott Bond vs. Solarstone - 3rd earth
Darren Tate vs. Jono Grant - Let the light shine in
Midway - Inca
Tiesto - Nyana
Cor Fijneman feat. Jan Johnston - Venus (DJ Tiesto Remix)
Conjure One feat. Sinead O'Connor - Tears from the moon (Tiesto in Search of Sunrise Remix)
DJ Ton T.B. - Electronic Malfunction
GTR - Mistral
Solarstone vs Sirocco - Destination
Mr Sam vs Fred Baker presents As One - Forever Waiting
Motorcyle - As the Rush Comes
The Roc Project feat. Tina Arena - Never (DJ Tiesto Remix vs Filterheadz Remix)
Solid Globe - North Pole
Lethal Industry
Push - Strange World (2000 remake)
Plastic Boy - Silver Bath
Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun (Tiesto Remix)
William Orbit - Barber's Adaigo for Strings (DJ Tiesto Remix)
Nalin & Kane - Beachball!!!!!

And a whole lot more that I can't remember right now. Das Mario, Great talking to you again, that set was fooking awesome! and Erin, you're welcome! Too bad I didn't catch you till the end of the night!

Does anyone remember if he dropped Andain - Beautiful Things? I don't remember hearing it but my friends say he played it. I think they are thinking of the car ride down, but I could be wrong. Other notable absences were:
Young Parisians - U write the rules
Holden & Thompson - Nothing
P.O.S - Rember or Amnesiac, both are bangers
Pulser - My religion

I was hoping to hear any of these. Mostly though the set consisted of songs off of Nyana and then a lot of much older tracks. But it was still off the hook, none the less.

Beautiful Things wasn't played. Didn't fit into his set the way he was spinning.

A dj set should be programmed to talk to you in a way which it tells you somthing. Start to finish not banging the TOP 10 TRANCE TUNES of the year. Building on somthing track bye track pulling it all togethor and making a complete set. I felt that his set in nyc didnt do this for me> some people loved his set but i didn't. He just played tracks without any thought or organization in mind.

Well...I was there although I only got to stay for Noel Sanger and 1 HOUR of Tiesto My friend was being a complete ass and he was my ride so I had to go which = me being pissed off. Highlight in the short time I was there was Solid Globe - North Pole and Midway - Amazon.

I felt he did build a set from start to finish. There were some parts that I wasn't feeling, but I'd say that was more cause of the club. I just couldn't take the heat, fog and suffication for 5 hours straight, so I had to walk around and get some air. Other than that, Tiesto controled the people that night. You could tell by the number of folks that stuck around at the very end. Most of the people that go to Glow don't go for the music, but that night I'd say about 60% of the people stayed to the very end.

I agree with tranceyes ... I didn't like his set at glow. It seemed too commercial ... he played similar tracks to his set in NY and his set in holland that were a few days beforehand.

Glow sucks when it comes to huge dj's ... cmon it's ok when it comes to armin or ferry, but I NEED space to dance so I can acutally get into the music. Whenever tiesto or PVD comes, it's a madhouse where you can only do the one armed jump fest ... lame as hell.

I'm nobody's spokesperson, but for real dude considering you don't know either of the two people involved in the conversation you shouldn't have jumped in.

Did you expect to make yourself look like some big hot shot, trying to save the life of poor old TranceEyes from the big bad BEEMA? PLEASE... she can take care of herself.

Judging from the way you are lashing out at people, it looks to me like you have a fetish for starting flame wars. DUDE, stop hiding behind your computer and just get a life.

Unless your future posts are related to the Tiesto night at Glow, consider doing something else with your time. Nobody on this thread wants to hear it.

should i comment? flame war? lemme correct you and your bend over buddy beema (or if the roles are reversed between you two) first off i know trancEyes through another TA, second i ing hate bigots who are into themselves like beema demonstrated and if this is a flame war and you think im hiding behind my computer bring it, just dont talk like your the one who started it all. im not tryin to save anyone, im tryin to point out how stupid one looks when they are too into themselves..

and by all means dont judge me cuz i havent judged anyone else, i just merely stated the facts which i supported from my quotes...

this thread is more stale than Tiesto's performance @ Roxy last Fri...
