hey man! whats up,
I actually remember talking with you when As The Rush Comes came on, hehe, you were like "holy ! this is my first time hearing this!"
:)
I must see the pics!
you're right about the drinks, I honestly don't see how anybody can get drunk at a club unless they are a millionaire...$8 for a thimble-full of a LongIsland Icedtea...I coulda used about 6 more of those, but that woulda been $48...so no thanx!!!!:whip:

Highlights of the night

Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun (DJ Tiësto Remix)
Push - Journey of Life
Cor Fijeneman feat. Jan Johnston - Venus (DJ Tiësto Remix) = OMFG
Push - Strange World (2000 Remake)
Tiesto - Nyana
William Orbit - Barber's Adagio for Strings (Tiësto Remix) = OMFG

Good to meet some TA's. I thought it was a pretty good night. I was expecting him to play some really crappy prog, but he played top notch set. I'm not really into prog, but Noel Sanger's set was pretty good.

wierd...why would you expect that??

This past winter he was not playing a lot of the uplifting/melodic style of trance.

Man, I'm sorry I missed:(

Tiesto sucked when I saw him at Area 2, but that wasn't entirely his fault I don't think. Maybe someday I will get to live the true Tiesto experience.

Oh well, I'm counting down the days until PvD comes to Glow, I'll make sure I don't miss it!

It got even worse. $10 for a long island ice tea drink. At around 3am I think, special "after hours" rates applied and drinks were $15. Shocked and outraged, I got a bottle of water for $5

thats why me and dancefever bought a bottle of gray goose and some red bull before the show.....we almost killed the whole bottle before we left our hotel........

Taking bids now.....SYKE!!!:stongue: Thanks to Gearld @ Glow. Without his help i dont think i would have ever gotten this shirt signed.

Go figure Glow would be better than roxy... usually it is the other way around, since NYC crowd usually inspires DJs...

Tiesto reminded me a spoiled brat in NY - boowhooo can't work a ing mixer???? PvD can work a ing set of two tin cans and a spoon and still make the crowd go nuts, this "#1 DJ" would make a funeral director frown if he performed the way he did in Roxy.

Whatever. no more Tiesto for me in the club ever again - waste of money and expectations.:whip:

Happy for people in Glow who actually got to enjoy themselves, lucky bastards! :whip:

I hope he comes back before this fall. He really played a rockin set. Drinks were a bit it expensive. $9 for a Grey Goose. Tiesto still rocked. I never heard William Orbit - Barber's Adagio For Strings (Dj Tiesto Remix). Amazing. A bunch of songs I heard live for the first time. I was on the dance floor the entire time.
