i have this friend ( a girl), and she wants to start spin.
she is like really hot and , and i was wondering, would
it be okay for me to use the fact that im gonna teach her,
to give it a try on my young padawan?

im just interested if its a dj codec for this or something?:p

no!

if you do this, your decks will disappear in a cloud of dust and you will never be able to beat match again!

I thought this was what DJing was for? ;)

It can be something wonderful... making music with a person.

It can also kill you! like when your girlfriend in high school joins your rock band.

careful.

LMAO, utter quality :D

Go for it my friend, being a female theres every chance she will be rubbish at spinning so she will give up after a short time so jump in. Just throw in lots of inuendo - "You are very good at tweaking those knobs!" ;)

I taught this girl how to golf.....well it was more like a strip golf. If your shot isn't straight, then something must come off. I'm sure you could apply this method to your situation. ENjoy :toocool:

i think its a bad idea if you a friend and she feels the same.

how about, do her the favor and teach her and see where it goes from there.

wow, that was an incredibley sexist and stupid comment! A&&hole!!! so i'm never going to be good at spinning b/c i'm a girl? so i'm going to give up soon? i don't think so!

anyway, you can't really "teach" someone to dj, they really have to get their own dex, and their own vinyl. unless they live with you, in which case they will then be wearing out your needle and probably mess something up, as we all do when we first learn.

tell this girl that if she's really serious about spinning, she will go out and get her own set of dex. then offer to help her out when she does get her own equipment and practices everyday.
besides i don't know why you would want to try to teach someone to spin, it would be incredibly boring listening to someone trainwreck the same damn songs over and over. go to a movie or something.

Ok, just to get something straight... Most guys dont get into DJing because they like to spin... catch my drift? On the other hand, some actually go into it because they love and obsess about music, like myself (my friends think im a nut job).

Dude, if you think its worth it, go for it... lemme just give you a pointer on this... if she is your friend, leave it at that... let it ride out... usually its just a phase. My opinion is she likes you, enough to where she wants to do something you do or like. Take it slow kiddo, pushing too far will usually end up on the other side of a palm/fist.

Can you deal with this?? If so, just be yourself. :D :D :D
