Ya, I went to UHS ... lol .. you knew me from the Quake2 days? Hmm... I wonder who you are ....
Waterloo engineer is over-rated. Yes, we are the future. A recent survey was conducted which asked 3rd year electrical engineers if they were satisfied with their program. A lot of them were not. We are future employeers. If Waterloo doesn't shape up, their rep will go down the drain. |

U of T is giving me 2500 upfront with the promise to pay whatever osap wont cover
waterloo is giving me 3000 and thats it (but if i get a coop placement ultimately i'll get more money)
queens isn't giving me jack
so...confused....:eyespop: |

| Not sure what kind of people are in chem. eng but I guess it has way more girls than any other engineering program. Generally expect to have a really big class load if you get into that program. |

What about all engineering programs at UW, in general? Just curious...
I've pretty much decided on Waterloo though, just gotta pick what residence I'd like to stay in. |

LOL... that's what I was thinking too. Maybe he did really well on the Euclid? Or maybe they don't just give them out for computer engineers? ;) |

Euclid and Descrates are only considered for scholarships if you are in Math faculty.. Engineering is different, they have their own Isaac Newton contest and possibly some others that I don't know of.. Besides, competition for scholarships is a lot tougher in comp. eng than it is in chem. engineering... |

Oh ok, makes sense now.
I didn't write the Isaac Newton Contest because I didn't want to get my acceptance taken away ;) I don't know if there are any other contests... btw, there's no more Descartes contest, last year was the last one. This year all the OAC's just wrote the Euclid with the grade 12's. |

Hm.. are you serious? Descartes was a really great contest until they made it easy, when it became a requirement to get into UW... And now it's gone.. hehe.. |

I remember those math contests .. the Descartes I wrote wasn't a contest but an entrance exam for Waterloo
U of T also has a contest like U of W's Newton's contest, the DaVinci contest .. if you want a nice entrance scholarship from U of T for Engineering it's strongly suggested you write that contest too .. |
