I know I am new and if you don't believe me well I don't know what to said but this really happen to me

since I was a little kid I have always been really close to my family my grandparents and cousins even though now we live apart from them, I have known from time to time when one of them is sick or in serious conditions.

Well the most scary thing that has ever happen to me happen when I was 12 years old, and my parents were having problems with their marrige and they fought alot when they came from work and before work and everyday for almost a month.

well that day my father was feeling that it was time to patch things with my mother and my mother was feeling the same way but neither of them had the coruage to apologise so that day they fough before going to sleep and it was one of their worst fights, my father was even considering going to my uncles house to spend the night but he decide to stay so he was sleeping on the first floor couch and my mother stay in the master bedroom , and my two brothers share a room and I slept alone in another room,

that night I when to sleep at around 11:00pm this was a winter night by the way and it was snowing really hard outside, I am not sure if anyone has ever notice but when their is fresh snow outside it seems brighter then usual, it was around 1:00am when something woke me, at first I didn't put much attention since I had woken up in the middle of the night many times, but this time it felt different I was starting to go to sleep when something again brought me back, it felt strange like some one or something was watching me, but I didn't open my eyes and ignore it, that is when I felt the front of my bed lift up like when someone is pushing it up and forward that scare the hell out of me, so I sat up and see what the hell was happening that is when I saw the thing that was standing in front of my bed.

I tell you that ceiling was high and the thing almost touch it I think it was at least 6 feet tall and it was just standing there watching me it was dark but you could still see that it was wearing long black robe with a hood over the head it was all black but like I said before when there is fresh snow it is brighter than usual and I could see the way he was standing even though it was black but I could still see everything the only thing that I couldn't see was the face everything else I could see,
I saw the thing for almost 10 secs it felt like an eternity, I couldn't even move and the thing was just standing there staring, that is when I closed my eyes and try to scream and nothing came out again I try and finally I was able to scream at the moment my father was walking to his room to apologise to my mother, and he came running to my room he saids that at the moment he heard me scream he got chills and was a little bit affraid to walk in but he run to my room he took only seconds and he saids that when he walk into my room he felt that something was wrong with the room and that it was really cold, the first thing he ask me was what happen but before I could tell him he made sure no one was outside and all windows were lock this was the second floor and it was inpossible that someone could break in and since he was a religious person he apologise right there to my mother and didn't let me sleep in that room for almost a week, after a couple of months had pass I ask him what made him come up at that moment and he said that he felt like he had to do it now or something bad would happen it was one of those feelings, up to this date he saids that the way he heard me scream is one of the things that still hunts him and gives him chills just remenbering; he never ever wants to hear me scream like that again he saids.

This trully happen I swear to you other things have happen but this is the one that is always in my mind every time this topic is brought up, I for one will never ever want to see that again but strange things have always happen to me, oh well:( ;)

well, i dont like bein in my house for a ton of reasons. we always have somethin weird in the house. the earliest thing i could remember is when i was about 10 and my brother was bout 3. i was playin with my lego in my room which is at the end of the house. i laid out the pieces to an airplane i was buildin. i got up to go to the bathroom and when i came back, i was missin one of the wings. my brother was sittin in the livin room watchin the tv. so i asked him, if he took the piece. he said no, i believed him because there was no way that he got to the room and back without any noise and because i went in and out of the bathroom really quick. soooooooooo. i looked and looked and looked, nothin...bout 3 months later, my dad decides to move the lamp table in the livin room. its a wooden table that completely rests on the floor. so he moves and behold, there is the wing! now obviously, my brother didnt put it there.

later, i was 11...i was sleepin in my room, and i couldnt go to sleep which rarrely ever happened to me. i opened my eyes @ exactly 1:20. there hoverin in above me @ the foot of my bed was this weird figure of light. i spent about 10 mins starin at it and finally decided to get up, i turned the light on and it disappeared, at which point i ran to the kitchen to get a chair...my plan was to sit there the whole night in my room and watch tv. my dinner room is attached to the kitchen and to the livin room almost. i stopped dead in my tracks when i reached the table. i looked in the livin room to see 2 people sittin in our love seat and one on our couch...they were all talkin havin a time...they were kinda glowin blue. they saw me, and sorta signaled to come in and sit down. i flashed the light and gone. i sat in my room (without the chair) until my mom got up.

my grandma has had a ton of crap happen. she was once in the bassment do laundry and brought a plastic pitcher down with her, she swears that it basically flew as if someone threw it onto the floor. she gets freaked real easily so i whistle to her when i am about to enter the laundry room in the bassment. she came upstairs once shakin, so i asked what was wrong. she said that she heard me whistle so she yelled out to me, but when she got out, no one was there...

the most recent thing has to be the loudest bangs in the house. i wasin the livin room oncw usin the computer when i heard a huge bang comin from the livin room closet, bout 5mins later one from the kitchen. months past and i was sleepin. i now live with my brother in the same room but with beds on opposite walls with our headrests on the wall that the computer rests on in the livin room.. i was sleepin and i heard the same loud bang comin from THAT wall. i woke up and bout 20 mins later i was @ the comp when again, almost so freaked i almost flipped off the chair. again about 30 mins later another from around my parents room which was mine before...we havent heard em since, but my dad just says its the old floorboards crackin:rolleyes:

that clock thing has happened to me alot...but 5:25 in the mornin...y freaky? thas my b-day...5/25/85...

My story doesn't involve the supernatural, but its freaky nonetheless!

I live in the basement, and during the day you can turn the lights off and its pitch black. At night, its so dark that you can't even see your own hand in front of your face. One night I wake up, but I am instantly fully awake and aware, no drowsiness whatsoever, and instinctively, I look at my clock to see its a few minutes after 3 in the morning. And then I realize why I woke up - a little bit of a delayed reaction, and I'm the most scared I've ever been in my entire life, my heart is pounding, sweat breaks out on my face, and I'm trembling. The reason I woke up was that I had one foot sticking out from my blanket, and I felt a finger drag slowly up the sole of my foot. I'm so terrified because I'm thinking that there is someone in my room, and that they are watching me. So I don't move, in case there is someone in my room, I don't want them knowing that I am awake. But in the mean time, I keep scaring myself less thinking there's someone there. And its one thing for somebody to break into your house, steal your or trash the place. But the idea of someone breaking into your house, watching you sleep, tickling your foot, and then watching you some more is damn creepy! And then I think I hear someone breathing... And then I think I start to see an outline of a person lurking at the foot of my bed. Now, I said it gets so dark in my room that you can't see your hand in front of your face, but eyes do adjust to the dark, and that's what I was thinking at that point. It took me 20 minutes of lying frozen in my bed, scared, to work up enough courage to turn on my bedside lamp - and when I did, nobody was there.

So, I go looking for my dog, thinking he licked my foot. But I find him on the top floor, in my brothers room, with the door fully closed - so it couldn't have been him. I then went and checked every door and window that someone could have come in through, but they were all fine. Which meant that if someone was in my house, they locked either the front or back door on their way out. Needless to say, at this point, I started to relax. I must have imagined or dreamt it, or perhaps rubbed my foot on my blanket. And I went back to bed, and slept like a baby.

Three weeks later, I was driving in my car listening to the radio when they take a break from the music to present local news from the city. The newswoman started talking about a man who'd been arrested, and was being charged with two counts of breaking & entering. But, the bizarre thing was, he wasn't caught stealing anything - he was caught tickling people's feet.

I'm not saying this guy was in my room, it could be a big coincidence, and I hope it is - but its all true.

i believe in god which btw is not the same as following a religion

oh and just remember that we usually don't experience things we don't believe in

I laugh, but that must have been well freaky!!

ok...i have some stories about the house i last lived in for 4 years before moving to go to college..

anyway the house was built in the 40s by a farmer and his wife, and the only thing i know is that they had 2 daughters and they all lived there. the parents died and the other sister moved away, and one sister was handicapped and died before we bought the house.

ok so the very first day we moved there i was about 13, and i had just gotten a tape recorder and a pair of headphones, and some new blank tapes. so i was bored and walking around talking into the tape with the headphones on (god knows why, i was 13) anyway so i was walking down the bassment stairs, not saying anything. suddenly halfway down the stairs i heard a female voice through my headphones. i couldnt' make out what it was saying. it freaked me out so much i sprinted back up the stairs and lied to my parents and told them i saw a spider. haha yeah right. i played back the tape and you could hear teh voice on the tape, it had recorded it. there was no radio on the tape recorder, no radio playing anywhere in the house, no tvs, nothing. it was pretty much empty. it's a shame i lost that tape a few years later.

another really weird thing is maybe a year later and i was sleeping in the room i used to share with my sister. i woke up at 12 and it was thunderstorming out pretty bad. my dog was on my bed, i was def. awake! all of the sudden i saw a flash of light in the corner of my room. it was like a glowing ball that went on for a second. i saw another in a different area of my room. i was so terrified, i couldn't move. then one popped (i could actually hear a "snap") above my face as i looked up towards the ceiling. that was the freakiest thing ever. no idea what that was...if anyone has any explanations that would be fine with me.

then one other day i was home alone and heard my dad whistling "and the soldiers go marching home". i had thought he wasn't there but i thought i was wrong, so i was knocking on the bathroom door for him to leave, but the thing is, he wasn't home. i was pretty freaked out by that.

then i had my own room in that house for the last 2 years there. almost every night i would hear a bang in my room around 3 in the morning. i haven't lived there for 2 years, and just recently i was visiting and my sister's friend who had slept in that room told them that he was hearing bangs in the room early in the morning.

my parents and my sister told me how they were all together in my sis's room and they heard a female talking, but there was nothing that could have caused it. (the house is in the middle of nowhere)

i was so relieved to move out of there...

S2K
I thought I'd be nice and explain some of these for you! :)

My theory is radio interference. It's quite possible for the new house to act as a sort of "signal amplifier" the radio waves may then become transmitted. It's actually possible (and does occur) with dental fillings. People have been known to hear radio stations in their sleep, the theory is the same as the metal in the fillings transmits the waves.

I SHALL NOW SETTLE YOUR MIND! :D You say it's a thunderstorm. Your explanation is a crystal clear description of the phenomenon known as BALL LIGHTNING. It's a naturally occuring phenomenon and is rare. But it happened to my Grandmother when she was young, it entered through the window, bounced in front of her and snapped. Very freaky!

BALL LIGHTNING does not look like "lightning." Instead, it usually appears as a mysterious glowing sphere which drifts horizontally through the air. It is typically the size of a grapefruit, but sometimes appears as small as a pea, or as large as a bus. It sometime hovers at a few feet or tens of feet altitude, but can also bounce along the ground. It usually lasts only a few seconds, but sometimes persists much longer. Various colors of "BL" have been seen, sometimes it changes colors, and sometimes it has internal structures such as glowing layers or moving sparks. BL once was thought to be rare, but this was because eyewitnesses feared ridicule and didn't make reports. In reality a few percent of the population has seen BL close up. Today most researchers agree that it is real, yet its nature is still highly controversial, and no sensible theories yet exist to explain it.

taken from: http://www.eskimo.com/~billb/tesla/ballgtn.html

Consider yourself remarkably lucky to have witnessed such a thing!
S2K
Oh and additionally, this is the best page I could find about ball lightning.. pretty interesting actually: http://www.tbns.net/mediapoet/tech19b.htm

note this point:
In a shockingly high percentage of cases the balls actually entered buildings through windows and doors.
