What i come to find, there is such a mad talent in up and coming DJ's from USA..... I think in 10 years they will take over as new PVD and Digweed.... if things go right direction, USA will become dominating nation for DJ-wise and Production wise and put Holland, Germany and Britain undernieth...I'm sure by that time europe will come up with the new fab..... |
The US will never surpass the UK/Europe in musical talent/scene due to its history, current scene (RAVE act) and generally because its not as mainstream and as widely loved. |

To answer Tekno's question first, only one of them was "converted", but he wasn't listening to music really in the first place.
Anyway, the US will NEVER surpass Holland in trance production. With the R.A.V.E. Act and all that , you can't really host a good party like the ones in Europe. How will DJs become known if not for those big events? Sure there are smaller events, but not everyone around the country can hear it. |
you probably right but like i said if things go the right way, the top rap/pop producers suddenly start making trance, it will demolish everyone. Rave act is the whole bunch of , you can find more drugs at a top 40 club then an electronica club.... plus it takes time for gov't to wise up and once they'll be able to make money off of it rave act will be gone |

it doesnt matter what venue/music style the drugs are taken at, if anyone is caught the owner is at fault, and the rave act will not just 'go' unless it is discussed in the senate. And since it was just implemented i hardly see it becomming the point of discussion. |

Yup it's even on the soundtrack of The Matrix Reloaded, btw it's Mona Lisa Overdrive (named after a cyberpunk novel of the cyberpunk master himself, William Gibson) and the track was made for the Matrix, by Juno Reactor and Don whatis-his-name-and-i-to-lazy-to-go-look-for-the-cd :p.
Friends of mine are currently in San Fran and they say that the "underground" scene is dying out. Clubs must close around 2.00 a.m and that everything is literaly being bombed with mainstream music. The Rave Act is helping either.
BTW many good US DJ's have moved to Europe lately and as trance isn't given the needed respect here in Europe, there is a good chance that it will even get less in the US.
To bad though. Many of basics came from over the Atlantic (Detroit Techno :eyespop: :D ,Chicago House, Porn music for the Cheese Trance lovers amongst us :haha: ) |

| kinda go off the topic .... Sasha is making money by these shows playing his music .... but as soon as Tiesto makes some money and helps trance get recognized by others .... NO TIESTO IS COMMERCIAL NOW HES ONLY FOR MONEY AND CHEEZE .... :whip: |

| Ive heard quality tunes on MTV Road Rules by the way.. that was like 2 years ago though. They played tunes like Energy 52- cafe del mar, and Sasha' Xpander. Ive also heard various quality trance tracks on local shows such as Deco Drive playing Gouryella - Gouryella to Binary Finary... and Ive also seen on the Sports section of news.. they always play high energy tracks.. Ive catch tracks such as Mauro Picotto - Iguana to Blank and Jones - Cream ( PvD remix ) |
