it's ridiculous that we hype Gabriel & Dresden while everyone forgets that BT is one of our own. |
Gabriel and Dresden is one of our own too ya know! |

Of course they are, we were discussing US producers and DJs. My point is that Brian Transeau has done much more for trance (basically inventing the genre along with Sasha) than G&D have (no offense Dave!, but BT has been around a long time).
[BT is progressive, breaks and trance. He runs the gamut, he's very talented.
Breaks - Smart Bomb, Somnambulist, etc
Trance - Flesh, Sunblind, Godspeed
Progressive - Beta, his older material] |

So what this "rave act" all about?
Also, I'm so tired of all this bullsh!t that wherever the drugs are taken at its still the owner of the clubs fault. For Phucks sakes, not everything someone does is everyone else's problem. Thats the whole problem with our society. Why don't people just take responsibility for their own actions.
Oh, and on a snowboard video I bought then opening song is by blank and jones, or hemstock and jennings.
On a movie I wuz watching, at an outdoor party cosmic gate's exploration of space was playing. |

The RAVE Act does exactly the opposite of what you're asking for. It makes club owners liable for their patrons' drug use, even if they have security checks and take other anti-drug measures. You could face thousands of dollars of fines if even one of the ravers at your event uses a drug. That makes it basically impossible to be a club owner, festival organizer, etc. The DEA already used the RAVE Act to shut down a marijuana legalization rock concert.

the Animatrix Soundtrack is QUALITY, just from watching some
of the episodes i noticed:
Cass & Slide ft. Danny Tenaglia - Fever Rising
Juno Reactor - Conga Fury, among many other JR tracks
Satoshi Tomiie tracks...
ok, theyre hardly trance, but still quality electronica...
and lets not forget the Swordfish Sountrack by Paul Oakenfold,
which was very good IMHO... |

I hear electronic music in almost every car commercial I see. Its either that or some oldies or classic rock song. I rarely watch TV except for the odd rerun of some shows so I dont know whats being played in any shows. It makes sense because the music is generally faster and kinda grabs your attention.
On a different note I swore I heard deep dish's remix of JT playing at work (Menards) the other day. I was helping someone out so I wasnt really paying too much attention, but when I was done the song had changed already. Dont think I was hearing things either. |

| ive been hearing more and more trance as background music for many things such as radio stations, tv shows, and even in movies. Lately commercials have been using them too |
