I dunno about this. I've never had any trouble with my hearing when I've been out clubbing (Althought I've never been to godskitchen, crasher etc) I've had ringing in my ears for an hour or three but if seems to have gone the day after.
And recently I think my hearing has got better, I tend to listen to music on my PC so much quieter than I used to, but I can't tell the difference.
Keep the volume knob turned down and you'll be fine :stongue: |

Every time I leave one my ears are always ringing and I know thas not good and I believe my friend got an ear ache or infection form Oakey Monday, so I often wonder. Anyone know of some precautions u should take or things u should do. |

i hate that ringing, it's not so much painful but disturbingly annoying and of course no one around you can hear the ringing, meh.
but with the volume down, you cant appreciate the finer things in the track sometimes. |

| I can hear evrerything very clearly if I have the headphones I use for DJing on with the volume down. But on my PC speakers that have comparitively awful sound, there isn't much difference if I have low volume |

to be fair, if im going to go deaf from music, its a helluva way to go |
loud music for prolonged periods of time isnt healthy, however, so long as you regulate it then your body will adapt in some way or another. also, not being stupid with the volume helps, not too much bass/treble but keepin it jus so you can listen comfortably without that annoying high-pitched bit or heavy bass
if you got tinitus, its kinda tellin you how loud you were listenin i think, ie loud tinitus = trance too loud etc.. a lil bits okay but not too much or you got some serious problems headin your way... |

any relatively loud sound or music, trance or other, would definitely hurt your ears...
just try to keep it low |

i totally agree, the louder the music the better it usually sounds as long as it's good quality and doesn't hurt :tongue2 |

| Mmmm whenever I go to prolonged Parties ( such as Music Festivals, wether Rock or Electronic ) and clubbing.. I will get the ringing, sometimes small ringing, sometimes alot!!! .. and theres times when I cant even hear and hear peoples voices funny.... It bothers me listening to good music with earplugs |

God I HATE the feeling of not being able to hear after coming out of a club. A plus is that you can still hear the music in your head though :p
I think its fine as long as you keep everything leveled. My hearing is fine...at least I think. I can watch tv with a low volume and people are like, how the hell can you hear it?!
As long as you dont go blasting your speakers to Kaycee - Escape or Jurgen Vries - The Theme, you should be fine :p, those songs live drive you ing MAD. |
