I hope you're aware that not only this actually happens in some cultures (Turkish guys wouldn't mind holding each other's hands, because this is a sign of friendship), it doesn't make you gay: you won't become less attracted to girls whatsoever if you do that. Just because you hold someone's hand there's no need to have an erotic background for this.
Even if there was one person looking who claimed you two are being gay: do you pay his/her bills? Does (s)he pay your bills?
So, unless we're talking about a skinhead with no hair nor brain cells who would kick your arse, why are you concerned about his/her opinion if you're not doing anything offensive? ;) |

| sorry, but I agree that holding hands wouldnt happen but for gayness in our culture. unless you were raised in a culture that accepted it and then came here you just wouldnt do it because thats been taught to us as a no no. and I shake a friends hand when he feels bad lol |

Just wondering: do you guys ever hug when conforting a friend? (I'm talking about guys hugging guys).
Although I'm a very closed person and there are things I hate about my culture (I never get used to greeting girls kissing them in the cheek), I think we can't be so "afraid" to touch one another: if I feel like hugging a friend, I certainly will. If I have to hold my friend's hand for some reason, there would be no problem either (but I must say that I would need a very good reason to do so :D). |
