Been a different year this year than the last, Armin started off the year in perfect style, but imo, by around May his sets started to get a little bland.
PVD has played some classics, and has impressed me the most this year, i think he deserves to win it, but in all likelyhood Tiesto will, because of the fact he's travelled so damn far to play sets etc. Been a big year for him tbh as well and imo his sets have been better than last year. |

I honestly think that its gonna come down to Pvd or Armin. Ferry is amazing, and Tijs is my all time favorite, but I think Armin or Pvd are the ones to watch out for. My vote, Armin. |
Yeah, the very people that don't deserve it |

the very thing I didnt want here, this isn't about deserving or anything, just which of the 'big 4' people think will do well, I'd have other ppl winning it but it won't happen, so i was trying to get a good discussion minus team colours & flaming :sadgreen: |

| I hear ya on this one Ian, its gonna be close, we had a few who jumped outta the starting gates (Armin, Tiesto (commin off his win last year and then all the hype {deserved or undeserved it was still there} for TIC, then you had PvD who has come through w/ some gorgeous sets of late, (loveparade, loveradio, and nature one come to mind) and then you've got ferry, who is always in the mix, although as much as I love ferry, I gotta admit, he's draggin compared to the other big 3 this year (IMO before all of you jump on me. . . ) Its gonna be really close, I'd rather see Paul or Armin pull it out, however the worldwide hype that surrounds tiesto will be hard to beat. You gotta remember, that certain people who only know of 1-4 djs are gonna vote, and lets face it, they probably know Tiesto and Oakie as 2 of the 4. . . . . |

In all honesty ....u can talk about whos doing what and who came out w/ what Album etc.
....Tiesto has done a lot w/ in the year (Nyana, Live in Concert, Tour for Nyana)
....Armin always comes w/ ASOT ....recently 76, and now Universal Religion.
....PvD has had one good single "Nothing But You" that has been RELEASED so far this year. By the time Reflections comes out, the voting is over.
Leaving my Opinion for co-DJs of the year --Gabriel & Dresden--. They are just coming w/ release after release and have formed a distinct sound in their music which is very unique in my perspective. They seem to create a vibe that is like no other and really define what a mix should be.
Vote Gabriel & Dresden 2003......lol |

| Hopefully he'll be ranked highest, I reckon he deserves it. His sets of late have been ace, more than I can say of the others really. Not slaggin em of course ;) |

I understand your point, but what ALWAYS seems to get lost in this contest/competition whatever you may have it is that this isn't Producer(s) of the year, its DJ . . . |

| Yeah, Production wise a lot of others come into it, and we got the TA voting one somewhere, look for Joeh's thread & vote if u haven't, this is DJ wise obv, and I think it confuses some people |

Its kinda a pet peeve for me, I mean, I think we can all agree that G&D had a real great year, but I'd rather see Jon O'Bir behind the decks any day, someone with some real skill when it comes to dj'ing, not someone who dj's cuz they make electronic music (only saying this b/c G&D are known as producers first, and dj's second, if you catch my drift. . . ) |

Theres a theory by some ppl that booking producers to dj works, but Imo it doesn't, a guy like O'Bir or whoever, whilst not being as magical as push/mike airwave or tomcraft lets say, would be the person id' rather see playing the others tracks etc |

| This year I have a feeling it will be PvD, does that mean anything no, I would listen to Pvd, Ferry, Armin, Tiesto or any other DJ who can put down a good session and leave me wanting to still party after its over. |
