Tutorial request list...

I've been thinking of making a new tutorial again pretty soon (probably on some of the more generic sounding Leads that a lot of people want to make), and while thinking of what to do I got the idea of coming up with a Tutorial Request List.

Basically, if you hear a sound that's common/uncommon that you don't know how to recreate but really want to know how, post it here and myself and some of the others on this forum can take a stab at recreating it.

The only rule is that you have to post a small sample audio clip of the sound you're after.

What do you guys think?

I've been thinking we should've had something like this a while ago. Like with samplecity.

this is indeed a great idea. There have been some posts lately about recreating those specific sounds. I'm really interested in this!

:D

Well then, start coming up with some requests!

My next tutorial which I should be finished over the next couple of days is recreating the lead from Gamemaster 2003 (Michael Woods mix).

Hey how about making some tutorials on special effects... I think above all I see the least amount of info on that topic here - if you want me to be a tad more specific, how about any song james holden has ever made heehee.

Sure; post a sound clip as per the rules =P

yes, fx (special reverse crashes, hovers, ..)tutorials would be very nice!

*Goes insane*

I've been trying to get that myself with no luck, i'm looking forward to this :)

(btw, this time, how about a few presets, making me modify 5 synths as i had to in the avb tutorial was cruel :p ;))

This ended up being a lot harder than I thought it would be, because quite simply, he used a Virus for this synth and I don't have one =P

For those interested, you can come really close by modifying the "Polytrance" preset with the Pro 53.

For those of you with the z3ta+, you can get it right on if you download that Virus hack for it that someone posted about a couple of weeks ago. Takes a lot of tweaking though.

To give you guys an idea of what he's doing though, he's using 5-6 voices, of which 3 or so are LFO'd to make it continuously change shape. The sequence is a little complex but I can go over it with people if they want.

Next up I'm going to do a small tutorial on Jame Holden style effects. This will hopeully be done by tomorrow.
