So yeah, they definitely seemed to have been falsely advertised. I'm going to forward that email to Groove Tickets as well, plus my friends said they'd talk to them if need be. |

ok, it's taken me ages to finally post my opinion of the night, but here it is:
i had virtually no expectations for the night and entirely planned on it being disgustingly hot, because that's how it was for tiesto. my expectations had been really high for tiesto and i had a huge letdown, so i planned on pvd being sucky conditions all together.
i had a fantastic time.
yes, it was hot. but i knew it would be. yes, it was crowded, but i knew it would be. i actually didn't expect even that big of a crowd, but i made do.
i'm not really into a lot of pvd's songs, particularly time of our lives. the rest are just iffy for me, so i didn't expect to really be thrilled by the music either. i really enjoyed the set, enjoyed the vibe from the crowd, and dealt with the negatives because i wasn't going to let my night be ruined.
i was SO glad to FINALLY meet arturo -- had so much fun chatting and dancing with you. erin, so good to see you again :) my friends and i were all too beat to do afterparty. i looked for you when i was leaving (right, as if i could find anyone in that crowd!) and outside, but we missed each other. are you going to deep dish?
sorry to all of you who had to deal with the bouncers, i know they can be really rude sometimes. i hope y'all will give glow another chance when a dj who isn't quite so big as pvd comes, because it can be a great club. you might be pleasantly surprised to hear pete moutso spin.
wish i had gotten a chance to meet more of you. mebot, it's hard to find people when you don't know what they look like! occrider, likewise. when are y'all coming back to glow? i'll be there for deep dish on saturday :) |

heh heh! yeah i know i was thinking the same thing! well ill definitely be back for Tiesto on nov 1st so ill make sure to describe what i look like before then :D |

I didn't even get a chance to meet everyone on the other side of the tables in Cafe Asia.. when I came in i couldn't see very well without my glasses anyways...
... I figured I would meet everyone at Ben n Mo's but i think everyone just crashed instead! |

I had a wonderful trip to DC, and I'm glad I got to meet some of the TA's/see a couple of people that I haven't seen in a while. Dinner was very good, so was the conversation. Glow was WAY too crowded and hot and my shoes are ruined from people stepping on my feet, but that's okay...it's was a pretty good event anyhow. I do have to admit, I did like Edgar V's set more than PvD, though. All in all, it was a good night, and a good weekend |

Well, I knew how crowded pvd was going to be (and I'm not having a good time if I can't dance/move about) so I basically started off with low expectations and high amounts of drunkeness. Didn't show up until around 12:50am because most headliners never start on time for whatever reason (and I was right) and I didn't want to be stuck in that sardine can longer than I had to be. Anyway I stuck around the back area near the wall with a few friends and I had a decent time being away from the main crowd and having a decent amount of space to move in. Needless to say, my frequent forays to the bar helped. With PVD's set I too thought it a bit predictable but from the few times I ventured up near the dj booth he totally brought a lot of energy to his set.

Yea it sucks I didn't see anybody ... figured as much though since I anticipated tiesto-esque crowds :). Anyway that sucks you're going to deep dish on sat ... the one weekend I'm not going to glow! Oh well, I'll be there for gielen, Tiesto, and definetely armin and ferry in nov. Crowds should be a lot better (with the exception of tiesto) ;) |

Hahaha yes I did see arturo once but he was behind the DJ booth. I thought I saw him a second time barreling a path over to the right bar, but by then I was far too obliterated to make any kind of expert identification.
Where were all the clones? |
