I just have to say the words "" "gay" and "" to refer to a woman have been used numerous times in this thread and you call claim to be intelligent. Try to not use "Thats gay" to refer to something that you dont personally dont like. This shows you have no intelligence at all. I would never say "Thats Jew" or "Thats so ni*gger ", like grow up. (its funny like the the N word is censored in this forum but anyother dirogatory comment is not)
Anyway,
should i close this...im sorry guys i didnt know that this was happening because i only check TA maybe 3 times a week. Its funny when people like Trance and make fun of mainstream because they are so unique and know what real music is supposedly. When music is just produced to be liked and loved and enjoyed so why care? Funny.

IMO if anyone resorts to petty "insults" in an argument, then they've lost it already. They're judging somebody they don't know through some text, and I for one certainally would not care about some text calling me a "" or whatever.
There was no need for anybody to flame in this thread, okay so some people including myself think that there's nothing wrong with remixing a pop artist, while others think differently. Everyone should just agree to disagree rather than let it resort to all the crap that this thread is full of.
Yes, I think it would be a good idea to close it as it doesn't seem to be going anywhere.
I was hoping that Dave Dresden and post a confirmation if this remix actually exists or not as I can't remember seeing any in this thread, and to give his opinion on the idea of remixing pop songs. |

good producers dont sell out, they merely improve and climb the production ladder.
its like if you were working at burger king and some body came to you one day and said ill give you a job were you can earn3 times as much as what you are making now and work less hours..
what would you do?
if you say stick to your BK roots then you have a strong will but a very immature and weak idea of buisness and standard of living
these guys are getting the oppurtunity now not only to make money but to get there name out to a whole slew of ppl who have never heard of em b4...if there remix gets on a single and some person likes it yadda yadda word of mouth she/he looks for other works by these ppl and maybe even starts to like electronica/trance.... there is a whole level here some of you ppl have not even thought about
just because they are remixing it doesnt mean they wont make other quality tunes like teh evanescence one and lili haydn...
money, is what producers need to make good tracks to impress you and make you happy...
