I've just heard the song, but I haven't heard the original so I can't compare.
It seems to use all the vocals. It's very Gabriel & Dresden. Very clubby.

i'll be hugely impressed if they can make something good out of this, because i really don't care for the original. i think the lyrics are particularly bad, but i suppose decent clips could be gleaned.
and i only read a few pages of this thread, but will add my two cents anyway: have an open mind about remixes, you never know what a talented producer could do! exposure to all kinds of music, whether you like it or not, educate you if nothing else and probably make you appreciate the music you like that much more.
and because i didn't read the whole thread, did dave dresden ever give a confirmation or denial? |

Gabriel and Dresden have finished their remix of Britney Spears - Me Against The Music. I wish they had removed Britney and Madonna's voices altogether. I am big G&D fan, but I will say, I don't care for their mix of Britney Spears. I feel that it is impossible for any remixer to turn a thoroughly crappy song into a great one unless the remixer removes all of the cacophonous elements. In this case, every element of the original is a cacophonous mess in my opinion.
I imagine that Britney and Madonna wanted their voices all over the mix, so I am betting G&D had little choice but to include nearly the entire song in the mix. |

I haven't checked out any of the other remixes yet exccept for the killer club amateur one, which is pretty good as it uses a steve murano bassline. |
