PETA and Their Ongoing Insanity

I accidentally clicked one of those news links at the bottom of MSN Messenger and was reading the article about Pam Anderson wanting to talk to KFC.

And this paragraph stood out so much I decided to make a thread:

Now I am not a big fan of children in general, but terrorizing children to make a point with a fast food chain makes me sick. And these morons at PETA think it is perfectly acceptible to put the feelings of an animal about to be killed for food above the psycological well being of children.
No wonder our country is so ed up :whip:

| I agree, squirrel dude. Of all the worthy battles people could be fighting for in this world these people decide to fight for chickens. All of the injustices towards humans that occur everyday and these people place poulty over their own kin. Priorities people, priorities. |

It's kinda like the matrix, the "purpose" of those chicken's lives is to grow and then die so we can eat them. Thats kinda my belief, those animals which were born and raised with the sole purpose of feeding us (or breed/born for testing) should fulfil thier life's destiny... i can understand if someone were to shoot a wild animal, or capture it and enslave it then i can see PETA's argument, but if the only reason that an animal is alive is because of us humans then it should do what we intended it to do.
but then agian if they get to shut down KFC that may be a good thing, there are too many obese, lard and grease eating americans anyways :tongue2 |

Peta are extremists there is little question of that, however if you've ever seen footage from a slaughterhouse, it can be stomach-turning. I don't usually eat fast food anyways hehe, but I could never give up eating meat.

If it were only 10-20 minutes my prayers would be answered. I can't stand pam anderson. She is such a skank. She just doesn't realize that she was about the hottest thing on Earth when she was in Playboy the first time..then she went and got a face lift and a boob job and made herself into the "I'm A Skank Barbie".

Actually if you havent heard yet, 2 chicken breasts at KFC have only 3 grams of fat :eyes:
At least thats what they claim :haha:

i agree with that, a nicely grilled chicken breast is probably the healthiest and leanist source of protien out there... i eat them often since i lift weights hardcore... but ya the way KFC serves them up with all that breaded outside, skin on, and deep fried, i'm not even getting near one. |
