since you are in canada, do you consider americans foreign eh??? :stongue: |
technically i should, but because our cultures are so simular and our accents in most cases are quite simular, i have a hard time doing so. Americans are like my next door neibour that over the years i have become better aquainted with. i hope that answers your question, although it was pretty vauge.:o |

yes, i admit, american is very vague considering we are a melting pot of cultures and ethnic backgrounds. I meant just on the fact that the US has tons of diferent accents in its own right. For instance, when I go to Toronto to visit friends they can all tell I'm from the New York area because of a distinct accent. So you see, you don't have to look far for a "foreign" accent. Just use montreal and toronto for example, not very far geogrphically, but miles apart when it comes to language....What "is" foreign??? :stongue:
pardon my random delves into my own conscious but I was at a funeral and questioning mortality |

My boyfriend is Peruvian! He has the hottest accent in the world  And i don't know... everything about him is so different from other guys who come from the same culture as me! It makes it a very eventful and interesting relationship! :D and the languages are great too :tongue2 easiest way i've ever learned spanish ;) |
