Strange, I never could stand those French girls. I don't mind hearing a guy speak French, but hearing a girl speak French (especially chatter on and on in French) just drives me crazy. If any ing occurred as a result of that, it would be some kind of grudge-ing.
In order of preference:

2. Israeli
3. Swedish
4. Danish

i get that a lot too. especially the past 2 months that i have been here in germany. i was in a class with other americans and i was the only one from new york. they would go, say water. say talk. say walk. etc. then they would bring over the teachers who were german to listen to me talk and then they would laugh and say how funny it sounded. it was kind of funny and i never really realised how i sounded, until now.
but yes in america there are many different accents. |
