I got few points:
1. How do u know its yours? Maybe it’s her ex who just bought her ice cream (ref to past thread for those who haven’t been following). Have her get a DNA test while she at it (does EDP make one of those? :p ).

Instead of panicking (sp?) and counting down the time, think what you would do in both circunstances.
If she's pregnant, give it to adoption (the child shouldn't be punished for your irresponsability).
If she isn't pregnant, ditch her.
If panic were helpful, people wouldn't freeze while there's a car going at 200 miles per hour toward them ;)

i cant beleive this thread is still entertaining...
anyway, this is my take on it, with the limited information we have.
i think speedy should drop the girl regardless cause she is controling him and seems to be psychotic. i think if there is a kid he should support it but not be with her. i think he is in a ed up relationship and that is unhealthy for the kid since this relationship seems ultimately doomed. though i agree that there is like a 75% chance she is not pregnant.
regardless, i think speedy should learn to use birth control (and condoms from his previous post) and that he should drop the girl.
i also predict that he wont drop the girl because he is whipped and possibly because he is afraid that getting a new girl will be hard because of the herpes.
and igottaknow... it could be a hoax - wouldnt be a first - but at least it is good TA entertainment. |

b-fly, i agree with you. To recap: its good entertainment, he's wipped, he should breakup with her but wont, she's probably not preg, she's a psycho who's got firm grip on his dumb stick, and oh ya that condom thing.
Ok speedy since u didnt take any of our advice about splitting up with this girl here's what you should do:
1. Drop out of college.
2. Move back to Houston and live with her in her parents basement.
3. Get a job @ Mc Donalds.
4. Most important (write this one down)! When I stop in for lunch and you take my order, don't ask me if I wan't frys with that or whether I'd like to Supersize it.
5. Keep banging her without a condom. Use the pull out method it saves you money plus its a lot more exciting.
6. When you finally get her knocked up, sign her up for that child welfare thing.
7. When you've built up enough baggage give Jerry Springer a call and let us know when the show will air, I'm sure we would love to watch the drama unfold to its natural conclusion.

You do what 'cha want, bub, but here's a thought to consider when talking about her decision to abort:
It was your decision and your responsibility to have unprotected sex. Whether you want to admit it or not, it is a responsibility, and there are consequences with a lack there of. Getting rid of the child/fetus/whateverthehellyouwanttocallit is NOT owning up to your lack of responsibility. I'm not even that big of a anti-abortion advocate, but I still see problems in the logic of having an abortion simply because a baby is an inconvenience in your life. If you were responsible enough in the first place to know what the hell you were doing when you were f$cking, you should be responsible enough to know and accept the consequences.
All that being said, this girl's messin' with you. Long distance relationships don't work, period. If she's pregnant (that's a big IF), please consider having the kid. You can be with her or not, but for the sake of the kid, it would do him/her credit by being there as a worthy father. This is esp. true considering she doesn't seem to be much of a worthy mother (at least by initial conversations about her).
But by all accounts, I would concur with others here and say she's yankin' your chain - probably because of the fact that you ARE farther away, and she can no longer hack it. This is the ineviteable result of nearly all long distance relationships: one or both members can't hack it. To make it worse, she's attempting to pursuade/blackmail you into dropping your life and starting one with her in the same neighborhood. If she is, in fact, pregnant, that choice is entirely up to you, though I think it would, at least, be very beneficial for the child if you had visitation rights. But I sincerely question her mind frame ATM, as well as her intentions with you.
Because if she really does love you (and if she's not pregnant), she would let your life continue to develop the way it was before you two met. I say this because you are at a point in your life where there are a number of crossroads and a multitude of directions to choose, and it is important that ATM you make the right decision for YOU.
If, however, she does decide to have the baby, I might also suggest to have a DNA sample immediately after birth. It's a little expensive, but I think you know why.
