| no such thing as 21+ its illegal....but if ur under the age of 21 dont bother going u wont be able to get in...its not legal to say ur not allowed in cause ur under 21 but theyll just make it nearly impossible for u to get in...theyll ask for 2 pieces of id...then ull show ur second being a smart ass then theyll ask for a third and a fourth ur ed theyll make it imposssible for u to get in..im rambkling right now but i just thought i should clarify the situation |

| i'm really excited for this as well can't wait!! besides the fact that i'm 23, the age limit never stopped me from getting into u.s clubs when I was going to school there froma ages 19-21 ;) |

it should be, if it's a private establishment then they reserve the right to refuse entry to anybody they deem unwanted.

:D looks like it's gonna be fun...not sure about the 15,000 sq. ft. though...doesn't seem too big really, does anyone know what that would compare to? (Any clubs in TO size wise I mean). |

It's a privately owned establishment, they are not obligated to let anyone in. If they don't like you, they are not required by any law to let you in. If they don't want people under 21 in their establishment, it's their right to make that decision. |

That's actually not where my mind was. I thought it was illegal for you to require someone to produce an ID unless it was for legal purposes (purchase of alcohol, cigarettes, identity confirmation for contracts, etc.).
But that's probably wrong. I guess that just pisses me off. Anyway, I guess I'll be passing on this event, then. I'm not going to go around searching for a fake ID when I'm already 20 years old - that's garbage. |

They do the 21 thing all the time in England, I enjoy it because I'm over 21, but I can understand of course why some would be pissed.
It's totally one of those things, if you are, you don't care. If you aren't, it's the end of the world. haha

That could very well be true. But they're not forcing you in the door, nor are they forcing you to show them your ID. If you want in, you have to show them, if not, then don't go in, it's a simple choice. |
