hmmmmmmm I dont know if you knew this or not but TO had Industry (which would stay open as late as the party peeps wanted it to stay open) A LONG TIME BEFORE MONTREAL HAD STEREO/ARIA!
;) |
That would be great if this place were the same deal....although, i dont think anyone needs to party past noon......if you do, you belong in the ZONE. |

hehe actually there was playground and redlite who were open wayyyyy before aria( 2yr), Stereo (5yr) and Sona (8-9 yrs).
for example, redlite was a tiny after hour club underneath a "depanneur" (a small grocery store for you guys)... no one knew where it was exactly, it was talked about like an urban legend... hehe its funny.
anyways...
I hope that club has a good sound system, because frankly toronto is trailing in that sector ;) |

$30???
This better not end up being their weekly cover... and for an opening, that's pretty ing steep.
21+ sux, places that snob it up like that are generally unwanted in Toronto. Seems to me that they are kinda going for the Film vibe.. arrogant and $$$ exclusive  |

30$ is not the end of the world, its the only way this place can survive when no alcohol is served. In Montreal no afterhour club (now 4 of them, soon 5) is under 25$ when resident djs are spinning, it can go up to 65$ when a stellar lineup is offered. |

no man the guv is a fuking warehouse. sound carries for in there. you can put 8 phazons in a warehouse and it will still be worse than 1987 boombox at carnegie hall. a converted theatre sounds interesting though if it has good acoustics.
and if i remember correctly, isn't spadina the asian ghetto? maybe i'm wrong. |
