amazing night,!!
didnt c many uktas :(
saw gibbo and kinuvan, kr00ton, misty kitty,
nice to meet u lot :D
saw luke on the way out, duno where he`d been hiding!
gibbo u were spannered lmao, so was i like but it was a class night!
stayed in the main arena all night apart form a bit of lashes which was way too hard for me, my ears were ing rinigin in that room so we went back 2 see jules.
didnt get in til 11ish after cueing an hour or so. everyone in the main arena played class i thout. wasnt too keen on armin playing 3 of the same tunes as pvd like, connective was amazing tho!!
need to go back to bed now, more laterz... |

in short...
G&D = in ace, they played far too much of their own stuff as usual tho, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, just a lil repetitive. live pa was pretty cool
Scott Bond = mint for all 25 mins that he was on :| J00F mix of Madaheva was quality live.
PvD = set of the night. his reworks sound proper ace live.
Tiësto = mint, ok, dunno how, but he was. vandit t-shirt was laughable.
Armin = meh, pvd copycat only without the reworks, set was slow and had no power. bootleg of 1998 + beautiful things was nasty.
Ferry = alrite i suppose, playing too much of his own again. his rybr remix is cool.
Jules = despite wot every1 else says, i thought he was ok. played happiness happening which was cool imo. he also played some trancey remix of the gladiator theme which was a bit cheesy, but still mint imo. can't remember what he played first but that was cool too. ended on the sun goes down, bit too cliché for me ;)
+ too top it all off, gibbo was still chewing his face off at 1pm when he got off the train :stongue: good effort that gib ;) |

that had to have been the worst organised party i've ever been to.
From the hour and a half waiting to get in... to the shoe search of EVERYONE atthe door...
to Tiesto's set being marred by a) gatecrasher refusing to give him the benefit of a time slot that fitted with his ireland commitments... meaning we, and him, were left hanging dry.
b) the technical faults on both i) the deck that just stopped working during traffic, and ii) the monitoring thatwouldnt allow him to hear the pioneers - so how he mixed rush and radiohead is a mystery to me - just trial by error i guess.
The Judge, Ferry & Armin were OK.. not brilliant but they did their job.
PvD was PvD. That means everyone loved it... but i am bias to say it was ...
G&D were the bomb at Heaven, and they played the same set here too. and Motorcycle PA... who gives a what she sung... she was nice :) |

Had a quaity nite, part from the queue that took an hour in the cold!
First time i'v been top the NEC, thought it was smart as , all thelights and the big screen on the stage looked cool!
Not at all impressed with armin only gettin 45 mins, didnt giv him that much of a chance to shine really and same for scott bond, who i saw for the first time and was very impressed with:)
Gab n Dres were nice, not really my style music bt did actually enjy it, some nice vocal tracks played.
PvD was quality, only 2nd time seen him and he had the set of the nite for me, some amazin songs i'v never heard of that blew me away :D
Ferry i enjoyed alotto, right of way was brilliant, straight after 7 days n 1 week, and rock urbody rock was cool as well!
Judge, tbh i was expecting a lot worse and was fairly impressed with him, wasnt that bad, quite enjyed it, bt cudnt stand up any more at that stage, wd of gone to see phil kieran but cudnt be assed walkin :P
All in all, had a quality nite!!
Heh and nice to see Spin doctor again for all of 3 minutes :P |
