| Best nights of 2003 have definately started at either, System or Guv and ended up at the Zone. Didn't much care for Viva ( maybe i'm just growing out of the cosmic gate/dumonde/nu-nrg type of trance that's a staple there. Element and Jai bar run a close second, but still aren't really clubs i see myself being a regular at. |

Element was free, the music was amazing, the sound was fantastic and the crowd was equally great. Drinks were reasonably priced. Any club that keeps me out til 4am on a work night gets my vote. |
I voted for Koolhaus ( rarely seen this attitude you speak of :p ), but I'd put Element down as a close second.
It's a nice, small, intimate place, lots of sitting room on the upper floor. They've brought in some great techno DJs and their sound system is set up very well - and since it kind of lacks a "regular crowd", you're usually around people who are there for the music and enjoying themselves ( unlike Roxy Blu, what a hole :rolleyes: ).
Element definitely gets two thumbs up from me, even if it's not at the top of my list. I've only been there a few times, but it's been great each time.
Guv main room is terrible, I don't understand how it got so many votes already. |

| It has to be Viva or Guv... System with all respect is only in the shoe box area... I understand that they support TA but its kind of crap in that area... even if the music is banging... Guv seems to be sporadic... One week its Deep Dish and the next its Ferry... Viva is my vote because they support it regularly... |

And this will surprise everyone... but System gets my vote hands down!
Great staff, amazing vibe, very little snotiness, decent sketch factor, and total turn around of the year... Breathe Fridays were going down the tubes in my opinion, but what a turn-around I've seen.... Keep it up guys!!!! |

i voted for guv.
i love system. the vibe. the music. the staff, the clientele.... I go there more regularly b/c of those things.. but i'm not big on the residents there (i love prog but not droning prog- except for dekoze- who doesn't play there enough)
but the soundsystem at guv, the resident dj at guv, the caliber of special guests and the relative cheapness (as well as out favorite guv-bouncer james!), the lights..ther is something special and magical about a night at guv. when i walk into the mainroom from teh coatcheck area I still get butterflies. I don't like the crowd for teh most part, but i;ve met some wicked ppl there and i have such a big and amzing crew to surround myself w/, it doens't really matter. i do wish however, that there was more room to dance. |

Viva would've been first, TR hasn't invaded it often enough this year. |

but I probably shouldnt have voted.
anyways, I voted because it gets full, but ive yet to see it too full.
Guv is a in sardine can that I wish I could firebomb.
it may sound good, but that DJ booth sux, and I really cant stand the crowd there. ppl walking all over the place, it pisses me off.
System..its great, like the sound, the vibe etc...maybe it should have got the vote, but it hasnt had any trance there (tho Zinc was so much fun!) |
