The Edit/ Delete Option Controversy

This thread has been edited to prove a point. (the original post is now on page. 2)

i feel that the edit option should stay to allow threads such as the Masterlist, Tourism, Birthday, School, etc. as well as event threads to be updated on a regular basis for new info and such.

the delete option is a little more expendable, but sometimes people do accidentally double post which makes it a useful feature.

so yah i think that both should stay , however i'm not against the idea that its rights should be taken away from certain individuals instead .. ;)

haha Yeah I guess, but the majority of people who usually make double posts (re: Uber Noobz) usually have no idea how to delete said double msg. Or usually don't look back at the thread to notice. haha

Mind you the odd T.A veteran (slash moron) still double posts (re: Liam)

EDIT: hah as if I had to edit this, eff off. haha
infinity HiGH
double posts usually happen cause the server acts up sometimes...so you end up posting twice without knowing that you did

^^^^^ lol -- i knew SOMEONE was gonna do it at some point.

edit: And btw.. i think editing is a great feature that unfortunately can be abused. Take the good with the bad I guess...

what i meant was there should be a limit as to how long you can actually change it.

makes you have to choose your words carefully.

if you want to update (say, days later), just post again? a 5/10 minute limit is enough time for you to catch typos and stuff and still have fun with edit/delete vanishing posts ;)
