apparently i;ve been told that if u cross into North Korea over the demilitarized zone they'll arrest u and u'll never be allowed to leave .. imagine taking someone u hate to South Korea and pushing them across the border ?! dry !!

How do you people travel so frequently? Don't you work/go to school?

hey Jenna, i do both work and school .. the only reason why i;m going this summer is because i;m hoping to graduate this spring so i'm making it a point to take some time off and do as much travelling as i can before i start working again full time. so what i've done is applied for a leave of absence at work and put off taking any correspondance courses until sometime later this year after i return..

you and Mike should really come! there's no better time to travel than now while you're still young because the longer you wait, the more likely you'll never find the time, possibly nor the company, to have this much fun and enjoy yourself .. !

thats the thing Jenna, thats why I won't be able to travel for a couple months this summer.. I've got to work =\ I know some guys who pretty much live to travel. I knew this guy who basically headed off to South East Asia and intentds to stay there and work there for 3 years. Now THAT's hardcore!

Hey RJ give us details for this. Maybe we could join you. With hardly any time off wokr makes it impossible to travel.

I'm going to fly to Holland on (or as close to) Friday July 2nd and return on (or as close to) Monday July 5.

The flight will be ~$500 and then 1 night hotel/hostel about 100 euro. Fly in - party - fly home. :)

Well, i think that travelling to Cuba, Cancoon, Dominican Republic and even Ibiza has certainly become a cliche :) But I could not care less, I will go to Ibiza at least once in my life just to see what it's like :)

Don't get me wrong, I love the major stuff.. it's apparent why they are as popular as they are (Rome, Paris, Barcelona, Prague..) But I just hate the "ordinary" tourist crowd. But I'm thinking that there isn't really an atypical travel spot anymore, everything seems within reach now and everywhere you go you'll run into a crowd doing the same thing.. :(

well, excuse me, Mrs. Extraordinaire...

Probably closer to $1200 to $1500 CAD for flight, hotel/hostel, food, Sensation White and a few extra days in Amsterdam to have an "amsterdamn-good-time".

$1200 to $1500 for 5 days, 4 nights is fine by my books. It equates to saving $50 to $65 per week from January to June - which is reasonable IMO.
