I know there's a similar thread around, but I wanted to start this one so every1 could post their opinions on drugs. users, addicts or haters, I want to get here every1's opinion. but please don't be bitch-asses with eachother! just say what U havew to say.
for the beggining I'll say I've never been on drugs of anytype, and sincerely I don't intend to. Y? don't need none to feel better. just the mood. usin' chemichal;s to get me in that mood would be artificial! I have no respect for the guys usin' powders or pins! about the ones sayin' they are on lighter .. I dunno, just get your experiences written down!

I've tried several drugs XTC, Cocaine, weed, acid and speed out of these drugs i have only enjoyed XTC & Cocaine i went through a phase of doin them all the time this lasted for about 5 months of constant use, after that peroid of time i decide to not do them anymore however i do still have the urge to do XTC a few more times im not 100% sure why because the drug its self is not addictive but the feeling you get from taking it either at home or at a club/rave is amazing, the thing is i enjoy those things without drugs so im in 2 minds weather to subject my body to more abuse, i often say to myself you only live once so why not enjoy every aspect of life! On the other hand i hear so many bad things relating to XTC that it has come to the point im getting kinda scared of the long term effects.
Its impossible to get good advise because most people are either totally against or are totally for it there doesn't seem to be many in my predictament or maybe there is... lets see what other response you get to this thread. Nice thread btw hypnoix!:) |

Well I have used I lot drugs my self iv almost tryed everything. Didnt haroin or Cris-Meth though, and im not planing too .... Its was good to try all the others. I got to know how they feel and what they were like cant say I liked all of them though. the ones I like are as fallws ---> E I like very much its a grate Drug( which I dont take much of). Weed is good but Iv smoked to much of that I was smoking that since I was 13 now im 19 and I cut down on that its to crazy to smoke to much of that :D and then comes the one and only very best one to have all the time... Yes Alcohol which is a drug also and a good one to :D so thats my story :toothless |

I don't do drugs... but i have nothing against the "light ones", i don't respect people taking heroin or like this, but with E and acid i have no problem.
And.. i think weed should be legal. (i don't smoke, but when i get older it will be nice if weed will be legal) |

| Dont need Drugs...the only drug i need is Trance...... and personaly dont like people who coralate Drugs with the Electronic music..... the people who always have to take drugs in parties are just Poser Wannabees thinking they know the meaning of the music ..its a bunch of BS..... |

I kept telling myslef, ill stay clean forever...then I smoked up..hey weed is a natural plant..then I was down @ a party. Took some Ephedrine, hey its not illgal, so its good..then I tried E just to say I had. So far, not a bad trip. I told myself id stay clear of chemical drugs, ie E, K, G, Meth etc, but I could experiment with the natural ones ie, weed and shrooms...these days, Id like to say I smoke up when the occasion arises(i have yet to buy, so im not chronic) and if im @ an event that warrants me dropping, i might. I will never try anything harder than E. NEVER.
how r drugs, well regulate the source, and I can nearly garauntee that there will be fewer people dying from OD or bad batches...If u wanna mess with your own body, go ahead, but when u start to be a detriment to society as a whole..prepare to be boot ed for you own actions. Thats how I see it...so dont vote for me if u dont like my ideas. |

Why would you not respect some one like that. It wouldent matter if they did take it. Drugs are drugs you either hate every one who takes it or no one. I mean come on who cares whether they are hard drugs or soft.. the point that matters is whether they have to kill, steel, or hurt some one to get them. If some one can control them selves when they take that hard more respect to them they arent causing problems to people... Hate the people up when they take hard drugs or soft. I have coke some times and im still a good person does that make you hate me or not respect me for that then. :D :D :D :D :D :D |

Sorry to totally disagree with you :D .... But yes I do think there is a BIG difference between someone who smokes weed and someone who does heroin.. Its 2 vastly different things and there should be no doubt that they should never be thought of in the same light.
My story, well I never did any drugs until I was 23 yrs old. In fact I was a very anti-drug person for my pre-23 years. I drank, but I never had any interest in drugs. In fact I was so smug, telling my friends how dumb they were for doing drugs, that "you don't need drugs to enjoy life" etc.... How wrong I was, my first experience with any drugs was, you guessed it Mushrooms.
I still remember that first trip, it was a comfortable nice body buzz and loads of laughter.. I kept saying to my best friend "I never knew, I never knew!"... I felt like someone had opened a door that I always assumed would be better not opening..
Now I not only encourage friends to educate themselves and use drugs safely, but I run a website dedicated to the sacred mushroom.
I strongly believe in legalizing of all drugs. I'll tell you why. If all drugs are legal and controlled, we remove so much crime. The hard drugs that are the cause of so much anti-drug commercials would now be controlled by doctors so that people with addictions have more hope of getting help. All drugs would be pure and as safe as possible. The government would make billions, the cartels would crumble and lose much of their power/wealth.. Prisons would have lots of open space since we are now letting out those "horrible" weed growers.. ;)
For those of you who choose not to do drugs, thats cool.. But realize that I was one of you once, I was 100% against drugs and people who used them.... But when I tried mushrooms I truly feel that its made me a better person.. The saying opening the doors of perception couldn't be more true in regards to mushrooms. I wish only that anti-drug proponents could open their minds and see what good can come from expanding your mind. |

I'm far from being an anti-drug kid... i just don't do drugs b/c i'm very young and have all my life ahead of me... i don't want to OD or something like this b/c i don't know how such a young body will handle drugs.
Maybe when i will grow up i will try something... |

The only thing that bothers me is when people say "I don't need them to feel good". Well you can feel good without sex, but you still do it. Listening to Trance isn't the only thing that you enjoy but you still do that.
It makes me mad that some people are so closed-minded, especially since as I've done dugs before, I know full well that certain experiences (such as E or Acid) are completly uncomprehendable unless you've tried it. There's no way anybody can even begin to accuratly imagine what the feeling is like.
So if people don't want to do this sort of thing that's totally fine by me because I would never try to encourage somebody to do drugs. But at least give a real reason; you're scared of side-effects or the dangers, or you don't enjoy not being 100% in control & coherrant or whatever. There's nothing wrong with these resons.
Anyway that's my two-cents. Not having a go at anybody in particular, just certain people I've some across in my life. And it's not directed at people who've been there and done it and decided it's not for them, because if that's the case then fair play.
[edit] Just another point on legalisation of drugs. What's the point? If we want to do them we're perfectly capable of getting hold of them at the moment. Why inflict potentially dangerous substances on the rest of the population? |
