what I dont understand is how you can dislike someone for a style of music they like or dont like?
Case in point

Honestly, what could your beef with hip hop Possibly be? You dont like it? well thats too bad! Not everyone like Trance buddy.
I am a big hip hop fan (good rap that is, theres alot of junk, just like DJ sammy with trance) and lately I listen to tons of it.
I'm also a huge Punk Rock fan (Once again, the Mainstream Punk is garbage but if you dig you find really great music), and I have even released a Local Punk scene collaboration, with 22 Long Island Punk bands, when i was 15 years old which did Fairly well.
And I have been Listening to EDM as far back as I can remember. I DJ, though im not very good, but I have a love for the music, just like I have a love for ALL music.
Basically what I'm saying, is quit hating other people just because they dont share the same music interest as you, and quit Bashing other genres, just cause YOU don't like it, it doesn't make it or rubbish or whatever you in call it.
QUIT COMPLAINING!!!

I couldnt agree more with you... If you have your shirt off and you sweat on me, your bound to get fizzucked up. The only sweat I want on me is: my own and the girl im dancing with. |

I wish more people would learn to use proper punctuation and break up their statements into paragraphs. After all, this is a text-based medium, so ease of reading is key.
My response to this: it has been said a million times over. I'm not exactly sure what your problem is? Do you encounter these people in NYC all the time? From the way you wrote your tyrade, it appears as if these are people you encounter on TA all the time, which I have never seen.
Just ignore stupid people like that. If they are too ignorant and belligerant to open their minds and try to learn from you, then let them be that way. They don't deserve your time or your knowledge. |

Ok i wont get into why I don't like hip hop,punk rock, heavy metal, death metal, (insert some dark term here)metal because then it would seem like im racist and starting a racial war in a forum that has nothing to do with it. But my views still dont surpass the fact that music is music, whether it is cheese or not so if you want to dislike me for what my views are on music...(refers to you stassi) you have become a raving hypocrate.
Have you people surpassed the point that i just dont give a two flying s about the cheese music, rather its the fact that people tell me i dont know . Yes i got a problem, yes i stated my opinion, and yes some people are making fools of themselves taking everything into context, relax people its a point I made, on behalf of myself and people who have the same issue. Yes, you have the room to disagree, but dont bash me I am not telling anyone of you off.
and yes for all you haters here goes some re-iteration for the masses: Dj Sammy, Ian Van Dahl, and JP are complete and utter newbie djs who deserve to be shot because its all cheese.

JP has been behind the decks for over 10 years so how does that make him a newbie:conf: By all means im not sticking up for DJ's like JP or DJ Sammy cause i particularly dont like them myself. I think you need to broaden your view on EMD my friend. Think about it. If there was no JP or DJ Sammy.....where the would that put DJ's like PVD or Tiesto??? You should thank not so popular DJ for being around.....cause they do contribute to the scene. And if it wasnt for PVD and Tiesto...you would prob think DJ Sammy was god. I think i made my point and i think you made your but next time....do your damn homework or your going to detention:haha: |

dude theres a big difference in sound between tiesto/pvd and sammy/jp, let JP be spinning records for 10 years he still spins his taste is his music is hes a SF guinea, so he can spin a 16 hour marathon set, but the music still sucks. now if i hear that if thre wasnt tiesto/pvd that i would like IVD/Sammy your ing wrong by a longshot, get used to it they both blow, if thats what your assumption of what would be great if they werent around get a clue man that music is garbage.
My taste in EDM is very broad, Trance/Progressive/Progressive House/Tribal/Ambient/House and i used to listen to hard house/hard trance/vocal trance, yes my taste has evolved over the years but get a ing clue dude, I appreaciate alot of EDM just not cheesy i hear coming from JP's decks.
and vtec you belong in detention your post almost made no sense im still not getting the point. |
