| hey ccpurno.. that's really near the original.. but the delay needs a bit lowpass to hear the leading notes better.. |

| Thanks for the midi, yeah it sounds much better but your delay seems wrong. Also seems like it's a much slower BPM than the orig. |

thread resurrection...
i got bored and made this
Superstring
its just two detuned saw waves in vaz, both detune bars completely to the right, slight pitch deutne. short release with a sizeable sustain and a wee bit of fruity reverb and some boosting of the hi mid eqs. |

Well, i read this post and i was like.. even tho i have my Jp-8080 sitting right here infront of me.. i feel like showing you that it is very possible to get the supersaw sound from the novation v-station.
::: I made 2 different supersaw presets and here are my examples :::
::: P.S. Each Samples is only one Session of v-station, no stacking here :D :::
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alphablue Supersaw Patch 1 Example
This was all done in v-station with no external effects such as delay or reverb.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alphablue Supersaw Patch 2 Example
This was also all done in v-station with no external effects such as delay or reverb.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alphablue Supersaw Patch 2 Example 2
This was all done in v-station but this had an additional external effects added to it including delay, reeverb, and some filtering.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well now you know it can be done.
Perhaps if i get some extra time, i will make a new tutorial about this. what do you guys think? yes or no?
:D

For FX I used
-equim EQ
-waves Trueverb
-Hecaline Chorus
-Synapse X-delay
I spend 4 hours getting the EQ and effects right.... :nervous:
