Gay people rule ok.
The reason there are so many of them is because the straighties keep on overpopulating the planet (and in the process produce more gay boys and girls). So if it wernt for gay people to keep a cap on the whole over population thing all the breeders would be tumbling off the coast lines into the oceans, leaving the gays to have a mass wedding or mass orgy, whatver they prefer.
So yes, thank god for gay people.

I believe that when Hawaii's largest religious denomination said that all religions in Hawaii were against gay marraige, a small Buddhist sect stepped up and said they had no problems against it.

If this forum was around in the 40's, smokeape would be the guy running around calling everyone n***er-lovers. It's not the content of your arguments (ie. your opinions) that I have a problem with, but the fact that you thus far have proven yourself incapable of anything vaguely resembling intelligent argumentation on the subject. Namely:
1) You make few actual arguments (I counted 1 in this thread, that could only be extracted by significant inference) to back up your stance.
2) When people disagree with you or post their arguments you post ad hominem insults.
This leads me to believe that you are either: mentally handicapped to such a degree that you are incapable of logical reasoning beyond that of a reasonably intelligent Chimpanzee; or your position on this subject is purely emotional - an unquestioning acceptance of the opinions of your peers/parents - and and thus you have no rational way to back up your intense hate of homosexuality. Either explanation renders your participation in this thread completely irrelevant, and thus until you prove me wrong my sole reply to you is this:

Mods are quite happy to ban for racism, I don't see the distinction between that and discrimination against gays/comments like the ones you just made above. You didn't simply say 'I think homosexuality is immoral due to my religious beliefs'. No, what you did was distinctly different.
I've got no issue with you holding that opinion, but it's the way in which you expressed that opinion that wound me up. We have quite a few long term members who are actually gay, I'm sure they appreciated reading that.
I'd also be interested as to why you hold the position that you do, all I've ever seen you do is post hate filled diatribes advocating discrimination and hate towards gays.
And what's with the 'running but naked down the street - gay people' analogy. I fail to see how the two can be compared/related.

The main issue is that when people say "Oh, the can have civil unions", they don't realize that a "civil union" gives you less than half the rights that marriage does. You can not dictate what happens to your civil union partner in the hospital (such as decide whether to stop life support), and many things like that. So unless you change the civil union laws so that they grant the same rights that marriage does, the issue will remain unresolved. |
