Paul van Dyk and DJ Sammy?

| Paul van Dyk really hates DJ Sammy and his music but one thing I dont get. Someone told me that on one of Paul van Dyk's Live set he play Boys of summer by DJ Sammy. Does anyone else know this? |

| probably played a remix of it. i doubt that pvd himself would play the original mix of a dj sammy track. |

| why would PvD hate DJ sammy in the first place? its not like sammy is a threat to PvD, just seems to me that hes picking on the little guys. |

| I wasn't aware that he hated anyone... the only things I remember hearing and/or reading was that he didn't like the music... If he actually said the words... I hate so and so... then I am wrong.. I just can't remember hearing or reading those exact words coming out of his mouth.... |

| Yes, correct...it was the Humate mix, which at first .... is not that bad...but face it...DJ Sammy's music...vs. Paul Van Dyk..not even in the same ballpark...No one ever said that PVD hated DJ Sammy...that goes for Paul himself...He said the music was cheesy...which it is...if you like it...no biggie..that is you perogitive..but enough with the threads about who hates who...That is not what this world is all about...producers produce...artists create...and humans have opinons....Don't take it to a level that it wans't meant to be taken to. |

Boys of Summer is a gooc, banging track. anyone who says otherwise is on the commercial high horse.
don't get me wrong, most commercial music sucks balls. But, Boys of Summer is a good tune. |

I really like the Humate remix, and the original is ok ... i just dont like admitting that i like it. I find it a bit confusing though becuase the lyrics were written by a male and it just doesnt make sense to have a female singing those lyrics ... unless she is into other chics in which case i suppose it does make sense. Hmmm ... |
