Love Parade 2004 Weekender!

It may be far away, but I am thinking of booking flights now as they are starting to get a little pricey. Not sure whether to go with Easyjet/Ryanair, as Easyjet go from London Luton to Berlin now and their departure times are a little more sane.
I am thinking of flying out for Love From Above on Friday 9th, booking into that circus hostel for some kip. Then doing Love Parade and mebbe something after (Lovebase has been suggested), another nite in the hostel. Then fly back sunday. I dunno if this is a good plan though, if people have been before could you tell me if this is do'able? Here's the flights I shall probably take from EasyJet:
Flight 2105
departs London Luton at 13:10, arrives Berlin Schoenefeld at 16:10
flexible web fare 21.99 GBP (phone fare 26.99 GBP)
Flight 2106
departs Berlin Schoenefeld at 16:30, arrives London Luton at 17:30
flexible web fare 27.99 GBP (phone fare 32.99 GBP)

Whats lovebase? And can some1 be so kind as to put together total costs please? flights tickets entry hostel etc etc ? Would be mucho appreciated .. see if i can budget it into my finances .. |

Easyjet flights are always a bit more expensive than ryanair, i've found. Also, its a right arse to get to Luton airport. Its even further away than Stanstead :whip:
The Last time i went, in 2002, i flew from Stanstead. At the time , Ryanair, didn't fly to Berlin, so i had to fly to Hamburg, and then get a 3 hour coach from there to Berlin ...
Love From Above is definately a must. Its basically a Vandit Night.
Then its chill out in the morning/afternoon before you make you'r way to the Tiergarten. Last time i was on teh street by midday, and chilled in the sun uder neath the column.
There are DJ's on each side of the column and they play for 30 mins each i think? and it alternates, so if you want pictures, you'll have to run through crowds of people.
as for afterparties, there are loads around. I went to Lovestern Galaktika last time, but i don't think that party exists anymore. So Lovebase it is :D
We've stayed in the Circus hostels everytime we've been to GErmany recently and its definately worth the money. Last time i did LP, i didn't sleep for the whole weekend til midnight sunday back in the UK :eyespop: :eyespop: |

| Ryanair do 99p there and 99p back from Stansted and leave at sane times. Throw in the tax and it'd be about 40 quid return overall. |
