UNI - My post semester 1 rant! (pg. 4)

lol @ this thread :D :D :D
i had my first day back yesterday, like jizza this will be my fourth year. i managed to get through last year without failing any subjects and somehow scrounged a distinction average so hopefully that new trend will continue :D
however i was dissapointed with the apparant lack of good talent wandering around, i assumed all the hot chicks were going to be out to impress and scantily dressed. damn. there wasn't even one free barbie on! and this was at peak time 12 to 2!
at least i have 2 whole days off this year :) |

yes, it seems that way here too.
I think the hot ones realise they can just marry a guy with $$s, or they are off in africa campaigning about atrocities to gazelles or monkeys or stuff. |

hehehehehehehehe yes even at UWS. They have these mad couches in the cafeteria and I fell asleep there today for like 2 hours.
I cant work full time! I was born to cruise and cruise I shall!lol |

ummm... I can't wait to get out of uni... I know some people disagree... but i'm actually enjoying my job. The works something i'm good at, pays excellent, and i'm actaully good at what I do.
Now I have to come home after work and study for my two uni subjects, instead of some rnr
And ffs, was working at the Commonwealth Bank inside Melbourne Uni on Tuesday... like how many girls do they have?!?! and not just the number, there's quality all round. Can't believe some of my Melb uni friends don't have a gf.... we're not as fortunate at Swinburne... though the arts/business subjects are alright. |

yesterday was 38 degrees.
1st years, as always, dressed up in not much.
the heat didnt bother me.
and damn these 4 hour pracs!!
next semester, they go up to 6 hours..... |

how many hours a week of classes do you lot actually have now? not how many you go to, how many you are supposed to be at.
It used to annoy me that arts and economics and the like only had about 14 hrs a week and maybe 6 exams each semester, we had 28 hours a week and up to 13 exams. |

Ive got the least number of hours ive ever had this session (20 hours).....
Just finsihed a 4 hour block of Advanced Aerodynamics....:nervous: i think my brain has been turned into mush and is leaking out of my ears atm!! Ive definitely dropped about a dozen IQ points today.....:nervous: :( |

What’s wrong with UWS? I just applied for the June semester. I’m from Canada so it’s hard to chose which school to go to from shinny brochures!
Anyhow I’ve done three years of full time school here and I’m going on two years of full time work. I think it kind of a toss up between school and work. The both suck, but its good to change things up here and there..
So back to my original question.. Is there a problem with USW? I applied at the Parramatta campus because it looks like it is in the biggest city (where UWS has a campus) and the closest to Sydney. |
