not really. the old testament was the OLD law, the old rules that were temporary before Christ. You were expected to live by them fully, but because we were only human, theyre was no way you could live by it word by word. theyre were hundreds of commandments Jews were expected to live by. when the Son of Man came, the rules changed. now the only requirement was to recognize him as the Savior, and now your sins didnt matter. though true faith, one didnt need to live by a large book anymore, just live and love one another. it was a message of peace for everyone, finally we were truely free. it makes me wonder how people can see that as bad. what soo bad about being happy and being a good person? |

hehe no worriez.
but yeah religion is all about each group of people professing their own "universal truths"....what I dont like about the concept of religion are the details...the rules, limitations, and stories that people have added to each religion in order to profess some sort of moral conduct....
is there no true good...true evil....
some sort of foundation that leads people to see...ok this is what is, and this is what is not.
i dont know...i think people have complicated something that did not have to be complicated to begin with. |
