use what you want and what you like.. FL isn't better or worse.. it's just that people like it and that's why they use it

in the end with fruity you end up purely using it as a sequencer and nothing else with vsti's and vst's doing the main part so i dont see why it is still frowned upon slightly as an amateurs program

It didnt used to be very powerful, and ignorant/useless/clueless people think its still like that, or theyre stupid and just dont know about all the features of the program and probably think ur supposed to use the stock samples + synths.

If you don't think any of those can make decent music, then it isn't worth my time to argue with you.

I use fruity as my main sequencer. I'm thinking of using cubase again because audio. But with fruity I can get thoughts out easier and I luv the step sequencer for drums.

Cubase sx suits my needs

What's with all the people using FL Studio? The piano roll in it is so hard to work with..

i use fl studio 4.5.1 as the workflow is so easy and fast and there hardly any crashes and its easy on the cpu too :)

Now, lets have a poll concerning how many of these people actually own licenced copies of their software ...

do you? :p

I wouldn't be suprised if a good amount of the people who use FL studio due since it's reasonably priced ($150) but I guarantee only a couple of the people who use Cubase do since that's priced at around $600
