my parents are pretty cool about anything i do.
Mainly its my mom though, my dad is a lot like Mr Pink's dad, kinda serious, but yeah it's his way.
My mom is cool as hell though, i tell her pretty much everything (unless she finds out on her own). She knew about the first time i slept with a guy, she helped me get contraception etc. First time a guy slept at my place she's the one who told my dad to relax and that i was allowed to.
When i started smoking, they knew right away too cuz i told them ( i was 16) and they bought me my cigarettes and said if i was gonna smoke, i might as well do it in front of them rather than behind their back.
She knows i've smoked weed before and she was fine with that, she even knows i drop (although that was a errr mistake on my part, she saw pics with the big eyes) and she was like "I won't tell your dad, and i won't tell you to stop, all i'm gonna say is be careful and don't get some random crap from people you don't know."
So yeah hehe, pretty relaxed parents, i'm glad i have a mom like mine  |

my parents are still together hehe, they've been married for 23 years now and still goin strong :D
and i saw something about the age gap between parents... my mom had me when she was 24 and my dad was 28, not much of an age gap between them :p |

my parents are quite cool, seeing as i just turned 16 about a month ago, yet have been going to events since im 14. i remember my first night out, was gonna go see Deep Dish, and i was asking for permission:
mom: and at what time will you be back?
me: well... that's a bit of a problem.
mom: how so?
me: well, you see, these electronic music related concert events (i was using every word in the dictionary in order to exclude the word rave) are rather prolonged, so i may be coming back somewhat late the next day. that being beyond 5AM.
and it all evolved from there. it was sort of a shock to them, me hating all my class social events and all, basically not getting along very well with my peers, being somewhat antisocial, that out of the blue, i was going to a party and staying out all night. but they were cool about it, so much that my dad went to see steve lawler with me 2 months later (he likes tribal) and it turns out he knows the owner of my fav. club (they went to school together) and one of the resident DJs as well (used to work for him). so basically, its all good. i dont smoke, anything, but i do drink, and theyve known this for a while (drinking is quite common at this age in this country). they did get pissed one time when i went a bit too far.
on subject of relationships with people of the opposite sex, HELLS NO. i keep my mom as away from that as possible. she's too inquisitive, not to mention as soon as i look at a girl in her presence, im automatically married and with children in her mind. but most my friends already know my parents, and considering theyre all at least 2 years older than me and most do drugs or at least smoke, i doubt thats common. sure, my parents know not about the drugs, but im sure my dad has a hunch. either way, theyre cool with me having gatherings or having my friends come over to spin, just as long as i pull no crazy . dad even gives me a few bucks for licor. heh. |

| I rather people not meet my father, he is honestly too weird. My mother asks too many questions, so she rarely gets told who I am dating but if it is serious enough, I'll bring her to meet my folks. |

| I try to avoid saying much at all to my parents about my social life, etc. I hate the way I have to almost DEFEND everything I love. So I think its easier *and keeps the peace* if I just placate my parents. I'll be gone in a year and a half to college anyway, so need need to rock the boat :):toocool: |

This is not a bad thing, but.......when i was a kid i was pretty damn inquisitive. Id ask all sorts of questions, like a kid should...
anyway my dad has a nack for answering a simple question in the most complex way possible. It would literally take years for a yes or no question.
i learned to only ask the most important of things....and even then I was floored with a huge answer lol

My mom pretty much know's everything, she know's I've used drugs, know's I drink, smoke etc etc etc.

| I've had the biggest life you can get, some time ago, i told my mom all about it.. but my dad dosent know a jack and hes the guy i've been living with until 2.5 year ago when he threw me out. |
