quite a few others too but cant really remember exactly who, on spannered times in gatecrasher.

You poor bastard. I grew up in Paullina, IA, up in the NW corner. I got out of there after high school and don't go back unless it's absolutely necessary. Iowa is such a terrible place. :( Where is Guttenberg, btw? |

3. Did you believe you were the coolest thing to ever walk the earth afterwards? I mean, it's a DJ! A person who spins records for 3 hours! It's like one spot below the President, for cryin' out loud! Did you hold yourself together?
4. Did you sleep at night afterwards, or was your heart just pounding too hard from all that build-up anticipation and aftermath?
5. Did you talk about it to all your friends for days/weeks/months/years afterwards?
6. Did you wash your hand after the shake, or did you pledge never to wash it again after your DJ's beloved touch?
7. Did that moment interrupt your schoolwork?
8. Did that moment further interrupt your sexlife, or did it enhance it?
9. Did your mother and father tell you that you'd experience telling moments in your life, such as this?
10. Is it really a big f$cking deal to anyone that someone shakes hands with a DJ?
Disclaimer: I am not knocking on those who responded, just wondering the "amazement" of it all to shake hands with someone. You want to impress me, tell me about your one-night stand with that DJ, then I'll exclaim,

Then asked him for an autograph
He asked my name to make it out to me and I said "Pavi"
He asked "It starts with b ?"
I said "no p...hmm...p for...mmm...p for palindrome" (yes to my disbelief I actually said tht..of course a bit high also)
He didnt get it and looked blank
The bouncer next to him goes "P for pizza"
Ahh ! All of us were a bit relived
But he still looked blank (could be the noice)
And then one of the organisers standing nearby pitched in "P for paul"
Well I can never forget the meeting :D |
