I have met Paul van Dyk in a very small room in a record shop in Glasgow where he was listening to tunes before he played in the store, the day of Colours where he was playing! I couldnt believe it when his brother (I think) asked if I wanted to meet him, so I went him, shook his hand, and he signed my Politics of Dancing album omg!!!!!!!!
and Mauro Picotto has winked at me lolol

| I'm 27 so I've been at this a while and in my years, I've shaken hands and even got a lot of pics with DJs such as PVD, Tiesto, Ferry, Christopher Lawrence, Micro, etc... The only ones I've wanted to meet but never got close enough to is Sasha or Digweed. I've seen them many times together and individually and they always split immediately after their sets whenever I've seen them. Overall every one of them has been nice. I've not once met one that was a prick although the closet thing to a prick response from a DJ came from Judge Jules when I tried to shake hands with him. |

When PvD spun at Twilo back in the day, I was able to get him to sign my hand (hehe) and while he was walking out of the DJ booth, abruptly grabbed his hand, so I guess that counts as a hand shake. :)
I've shaken hands with Donald Glaude, had a poster signed on my thigh :D by Digweed, gotten a picture taken with Dave Seaman, shook hands with Judge Jules, Danny Howells, Sharam from Deep Dish, and our very own Jason Jollins. :) Took a picture for my friend with Johan Gielen. Got to hang out with our honorary superstar DJ Victor Dinaire at Ultra in 2001. :gsmile:
Well ok I made a fool of myself when I tried to get my "In My Memory" vinyl signed by Tiesto. First of all, I tried to do it in the middle of his set. Secondly, I gave him a present along with it, and thirdly, I didn't bring a Sharpie with me. So now Tiesto has a copy of my "In My Memory" somewhere :D |

Hey, maybe ONE day I might go to Toronto and check out the scene and actually get to see TTA do it? Now THAT would be quality. :haha: I'd make sure I videotaped it! |
