Hi trancelovers !
I'd like to know your opinion about this question ! cause personally, I think that, in majority, TRANCE MUSIC is MUSIC STYLE FOR BOYS ! and girls ? does they like it ? for example, your girlfriend ? she loves it ? mine love some tunes from DUMONDE, ARMIN... and your girlfriend ?
I think it's a good topic and I hope that many memebers will be interesting by it !!!

i think i understand what u r sayin, i havent got a gf at the mo, so i cant really ask her, but most of my girl mates liked the garage sceen in the uk, but are getting fed up with it and moving towards the roger sanchez - another chance stuff. But overall there is an equal devide between boys and girls in a club.
And i would prefere it if there were many more women who liked trance, than blokes, gives me better odds |

Well i do have a GF and most of u on here know her, she is of course Wicked Red :) So seeing as she is an active member of these forums i would say that means she Loves Trance.
A lot of the girls i know are into trance, mainly the emotional, uplifting and euphoric stuff, it's great to dance to and makes u feel wonderful.
I find over where i am more girls are into trance than guys are.
Mainly the guys round here are playing garage cos they think thats what's in fashion.
where i work there are 2 guys that claimed to be huge garage fans, Now both of them are collecting trance tunes cos of the stuff i have played them.
U can follow trends as such, for the last year garage has been really big in the UK but is now (thank god) losing its edge simply cos its not a genre that can progress like trance can.
anyway this is going way off topic :rolleyes: so back on topic, trance is not for boys only or girls only, its for everyone, male or female and like i said, around here Girls are the biggest trance fans :)

Mainly Trance is for everybody who likes it :p
But as somebody already said, I can imagine that girls like the uplifting tunes. Darker trance is more for guys I think, also Progressive, but there are raver chicks which just use to go nuts when they hear (and feel) a fat beat :D (Not only girls of course). But I depends on every trancefan himself. I prefer everything.. just a good mixture!
Rank 1 e.g. is quite famous even to people which usually don't listen to Trance, it's cause of the strings I guess. |

| I was just flicking through some pics frm Loveparade and there are way more boys than girls there (we're talking at least 80/20). Maybe there's just as many girls listening to trance as boys, but they don't go the parties. Not around here that is. |

| Yeah trance attracts both sexes, Its not like D & B raves where the majority of people are blokes, when I go out to clubs theres usually a good ratio of girls to men, like around 1.5 girls to each man. |

I agree with that, i've only been with my girlfriend for a short while, and I try to push on her that type of trance, she seems to like it....next task....move here more away from hiphop :).....
but yeah, i see alot of girls at the clubs.....so they must like it....raver chix rule :) |

Well i personally LOVE TRANCE... couldnt go on without it...but now that you asked this question im thining i am actually the only girl in my group of friends who is really into this kinda of music... the other girls are more into that crappy POP (nsync,britney spears) or rock (garbage,limp bistik) i mean i like other music but trance is my life.
the guys me and my boyfriend hang out wiht are crazy about trance music too and that is what makes us really good friends.. it is like trance brings us together.

| My ex-girlfriend was a rap listener before she met me. Then I got her hooked on trance. It all started with vocal tracks (not being sexist, but I think all girls like vocal tracks). It all started with Oakie in Sydney w/ the McClachlan Silence Remix. That's what got her hooked. Hell I loved the song...now I can't stand hearing it. It's everywhere. |
