Pressing 'shift' while you create the devices will solve your problem :)

Thanks :D

you can reverse with the NN-XT, choose play mode BW on the sample selected

Ooh, didn't know that. When I've wanted to have a reverse sound I exported it, reversed it, then re-imported. But this will save me time. :D

I'm gonna try this when I get home. Can you do the same with the NN19?

Better compressor
VST support would be great

Definitely with you on the VST support and the reverse feature on redrum...hell even for their samplers. And I wish they wouldn't downgrade the quality of the sound. Tempo automation would be really nice as well.

But I consider those to be "bug fixes," not addons. As for addons...

2) Built-in compression algorithims for mixdowns
3) A gate-type effect linkable to whatever you choose (i.e. amplitude, filter cutoff, LFO on/off, etc...) with programmable steps. Come to think of it, you could probably do this by attaching a matrix to the gate-ee...anyone ever tried it?
4) Multiband compressor

2) no way. I don't want an automatic built in compression feature.
3) Surely. And it works really good.
4) You can build one , I downloaded one ( forgot the link ).

Most important would be and high end dithering mode which improves quality problems in Reason.

About the compression - I don't mean to say they should replace the wave output with compressed audio output, I mean to say they should have that option.

The real beauty of Reason is the flexible routing, if we could route plugins then the sky would be the limit.

I like how FuzzyGreen put this. Yes I can use Reason as a Rewire slave to Cubase, like I do now, and use all the VST/VSTis I want. However, I work faster and more efficiently in Reason and being able to just drop in Vstation or Vanguard and hook up a Matrix sequencer to it would just be cool. Plus I think giving Reason support for VSTis would give it so much more respect. So many people including tons of my friends bash the out of Reason and what is funny is that the main thing they always bring up and rub in my face is no VST/VSTi support. But realisticly, I doubt we will ever see it... Finally, on my wish list for Reason 3 would be for Reason to have the ability to send midi data.

I would like VST support, a sync button so when you press the keys, the sequencer starts recording and a high resolution dithering like the UV22H.
