Since there's a bassline thread already, how about we post our custom patches audio samples (mp3, real audio, or any common format) for others to enjoy.? I mean patches that you made your own by starting with a blank Init patch. There's too many talented people here and it would be overwhelming (in a good way) to fill this thread with beautiful custom sounds created by you guys. You can use either software or hardware synths and it would be very cool if you post what you used to make it...just that...you don't need to post how to make that patch...just the program and the synth with whatever effects you used.
I will be posting mine in an hour, since I have Reason 2.5 but I'm going to hook up my Novation Nova...I like hardware way more than software synths. :) |

Tranc3, thanks for the link. I've known that site for a while, but I'm pretty sure a lot of people don't and will take advantage of it. :)
But to clarify one more time, this thread is for ausio samples of your best trance leads or patches, not the patches themselves, since it's not fair to post a patch that you've worked on and busted your rear on it to just let somebody else download it :p. By posting audio samples, we see the talent of everybody, while keeping the curiosity level to the max and push ourselves to emulate somebody else's patch that caught our attention. :D |
