i said earlier how the Ford Focus hatchback was ugly, come to think of it, i'm not very fond of ANY ford model car....i think they've got a lot of catching up to in terms of looks:D...the Focus was just a way to copy the look of the very popular in US, VW Jetta's and Golf and it was UNSUCESSFUL...ahhahahah:) u ford suckers

one beef that i have with the American Lancer is that it doesnt totally look like the Japanese Evo - from the front, which sux, cause the JP car is beautiful, and the US version is just ok...late/ |

the one with the 340 hp is in the UK. Probably for racing but i dunno i just got the info from a Uk mitsu site. There seems like way too many mitu sites for different countries. I went through Uk, korea, america, etc.

Civics have a ton of parts and many mechanics who fix them, but im getting pretty tired with so many of them :( Excellent car none the less, but so many people have them. |

In the picture here, that is what my first GTI looked like when i got it... all white, stock, but dropped, and those are the OEM wheels from a 1996 VR6 GTI.... nice. i miss that car.

tHE n.a.-can lancers are basically pieces of , comparing to Jap rally models. Mitsu juist jewed out and decided not to seriously battle subaru for the N.American market. Or mitsu will bring the Evo over to the Americas later on..in a few years. DOn't worry, I've talked to a lot of people for a long time now about getting an Evo into Canada or the US. Basically, you can't, unloess your rich and you want to rally it..Cause you can't drive it on the streets.
Your best bet is The WRX, 220 hp is good..but subaru jewed out with the N.American market too, their Jap models where like 280bhp i believe, at the wheels i think.. oh well...remember, buy these cars only if u have some extra 10 gran lying around..
wrx about 35 gran..or soemthing..cnd...the evo is like 40..usd i think, but in japon.

thanks biznology and ABT, i'll probaly end up getting a civic since my mom and brother likes it just because everyone has it. Oh well stuid brother who dont know anything about cars, i mean i admit i dont know jack but more than him. He is all saying he watns a spoiler and stuff its annoying, then i was like eww look at those clear tail lights on that civic, and he siad "well i like it" OMG !!!!! HE IS SO IMAGE whatever ..that sprite things. Anyways i know its a not a lancer EVO thats why i said lancer/mirage. Well i problay would want a faster car so i problay will end up with a civic even if the new ones are butt ugly just like the ford focus which it copied from i think. Unless i get a jetta ?? Hahah maybe a 2000 or 2001 jetta if i ever get to get a car around next year. But of course i dont want to deal with used cars since a lot of them have lots of miles. I want a golf but i'm kinda tall and i think i'd look dumb in one. Hopefully when i goto college i would be able to fix up the car i get, no not 1000 feet spoilers that can act as a antenna to recieve signals from mars.
Anyways.....If you guys live around here near san fran you'll see LOTS of ugly cars oh man Green 98 civic with euro lights and a giant spoiler?!!? Loud ass mufflers when they are going like 3mph, its like damn u stupid ass quit showing off. |

Juricimo - actually the Focus is prolly one of the most popular Ford cars right now, especially in Europe, thay are makin LOADS of money off them...too bad tho. And yeah, fords are ugly.
Dmatrox - that information you got off the UK site was absolutely right, cuz they CAN import the EVO(bastards) cuz the Japanese, Australians and British are the only countries that drive on the 'wrong'(hehe) side of the road.
TSI - actually i think that by releasing the ghetto Lancer they are just paving the way for the Evo VIII in the US. A WRX would be an awesome choice, alt prolly 2x the price of either a Civic or a Lancer (those station wagons are DOPE!) and they did lower the hp for the US to 230, but I read that the STi 22B, will come out here this spring(could be wrong tho). This thing eats M3s for lunch! It has ~300hp, and better suspension, ok ill stop im drooling on my keyboard...:D :D
HAHA props ABT..although we might want to keep on neutral ground maybe...hehe

| the Lancer looks kinda odd. It looks nothing like the evo, the front looks like an infinity, the rims are tiny, i think they're 16' they don't look right. |

DVD - also you might want to look at the Mazda MP3... i forgot about that one, its pretty quick, and really fun to throw around.. plus its got a killer stereo, comes with rims and body kit. Even the wagons are hella tight! A friend of mine has one, and i was telling him the story of this thread today and he said "what about my car"..... heheh. As far as the Jetta and Golf - they cost a little more, but trust me, head room is not a problem. I am 6'2-3" myself, and i have room to spare. (Seats adjust 6-ways, including up/down).
Biz - true, maybe truce is best. But its fun! ah well, we'll stick to music in the debate arena...
Dmatrox - yeah, i see WAYYYY too many civics, we call them "bellybutton cars" b/c everyone has them....
