almost as much as england, which has already been mentioned
as winning only ONE thing ever, which on top of that,
was AT HOME, so they had the advantage anyway....
really counts for HALF a cup imo.... |

and your opinion counts for . Half a cup my ass...are you retarded? Tons of teams have won it on home soil...France in 98, Germany in 74 (actually that was West Germany). And France won the Euro in 2000 in Belgium/Holland. That might as well be home turf. |

| just look at the size of ireland.it fits in lake ontario and look at the high quality football team we have. We just held the world champions to a scoreless draw in dublin and we are still in the top 15 in the fifa rankings.we missed out this time but we will be back. |

the french played most of their games IN belgium...they mostly speak French there and most were also cheering for France, plus all the frenchies who came over for the games. (of course...england supporters were limited because they're all hooligans...yep..they're the only nation who's fans are hooligans. ) |

Damn, so you're saying Peru should've done better in Spain 1982 and Mexico 70 since well.. I mean they speak spanish so its like home turf anyways. Do we cheer for American teams cause they speak english? |

Hate to break it to you but the majority of Belgians speak dutch. Not french.
Also i honestly, honestly doubt that Belgians would be cheering on France considering most of us despise the French.
Yeah there may have been a lot of French people who crossed the border. That still doesn't make it home turf considering i'm sure a lot of other people came to see the matches too.
Get it right. Just because we speak french in Belgium it does not makes us home turf for the French.
**edit**
I also just noticed how you rolled your eyes at the English hooliganism. I don't know if you watched the news but after one match the ENGLISH fans went out and ing destroyed a few things. I'll try and find the article on that one.
And English hooligans are the worst kind of hooligans that exist. They go out and ransack places, cause fights with the locals. Yes they are scum. And yes, i totally agree on limiting the amount of English fans that come through the borders. |

My money is on Germany, many of the older players that were on the World cup team have moved on but filling their spots are younger and faster players with HUGE talent
I think Kahn will be at his best for he is eager to win something for his home country. Ballack will show his maturity and KLOSE WILL put the ball in the back of the net as if he was ANDRI SHEVCHENKO.
coming in second is the home team and third will be France. |
